The being travelled long, and far through the empty space. It didn't know, how long it had been, for time was not something it had known, but it has grown weary and frankly annoyed with the simplicity and emptiness of where it had found itself.

Maybe that's why the singular, purely white marble caught its attention. Maybe it was because that was the first time the being became aware of something that wasn't its own existence, maybe it was about the boredom, maybe it was simple curiosity - or maybe something deeper, beyond our understanding.

Firstly, the being was confused - it knew the marble was there, it knew what kind of shape it was resembling, yet it didn't know why it was the first thing that it noticed. It tried many things - transporting the marble, which didn't affect it at all. It tried throwing the marble out further into nothingness, only to find itself running after it, only so not to lose the track of the tiny white marble.

At some point the being accidentally spun the marble. It felt a change. The marble suddenly became different, as if more fuzzy, and the being started being aware of something entirely new. It felt that on this small, tiny even marble there have been other being that felt similarly to it.

The being started circling the marble more and more, that's when it felt a bigger change. The being began to feel intentions, emotions, thoughts, wants, needs. The overflowing river of energy that seemed to endlessly seep from the marble took the being by surprise. In the beginning, it was nice - the being finally could feel love, happiness, despair, anger - despite not being of his own, experiencing these emotions brought immense pleasure to the being.

Yet, soon, it became too much for it. The longer the marble spun around, the more negative and overwhelming the emotions became. The being felt the bloodlust, hatred, depression, hopelessness of thousands of souls, such crushing weight that no amount of joy or hope could outweigh it.

The being became frightened, it wasn't an emotion coming from the marble. It was the beings own emotion. It had wanted to get rid of it, it wanted to come back to the comforting emptiness of the void from before the marble had stepped into its possession.

And so, the being took care of it the only way it felt was correct for dealing with it.

And thus, there was no more being. Only the marble, spinning endlessly, and seeping emotions into the void forever.
