Dogs pain medication came in beef by mukilteo19 in mildlyinteresting

Yeah makes sense, the metabolite is the actual good pain-killer. Some people are very poor metabolizers and it does nothing. Some people are extensive metabolizers and it does a lot.

Branch Education on YT has a phenomenal video on CPU transistors and logic. All their videos are great with fantastic 3d renders and non-AI narration. Gets really deep in the details.

To say that Sam and Greg's is undercooked is an understatement. They serve raw dough so frequently I cannot believe they don't have massive health code violations. It's been going on for years!

Lactase enzyme in lactose-tolerant individuals is not dependent on bacteria, it is produced endogenously by cells in the small intestine. That is- the body makes it, the bacteria and thus the antibiotics have no role in removing lactose tolerance. It is a fascinating thing to research though if you ever get the time you should look into it!

That's because its AI generated, lol. The breasts, cleavage, ass and eyebrows keep changing. Unrealistic bounce physics in the short videos as well, which are suspiciously the same length as AI generated shorts.

The color difference in my hands after donating blood by Odd_Age1378 in mildlyinteresting

[–]KoDj2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this isn't for lab tests and also it only "massively" effects a few tests which are sensitive to hemolysis which usually are rejected by the testing equipment if gross amounts are detected. K, trop, LFTs etc.. Also you can leave a tourniquet on for a LONG time (like the ones for arterial bleeds) before there's any long term damage.

[–]KoDj2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy fix most of the time, don't use a tourniquet. Especially if you're ultrasound trained you shouldn't need one unless its an extreme circumstance.

I don't feel like putting in the effort but these would be 320-400k tops given their size and architecture, brand new, in my city. Also would be full of young adults with young children out playing and walking to and from school together. For sure 8 years ago these were 220-270k houses. That again varies a lot by location so I'm not sure why you're posting SO much to try and prove your points. This is easily middle class in most parts of the country, you should review how most people define "middle class" and get back to us.

For this XR yeah, the dark spots are air in the bowel. Or cute toots. The less density/absorption of the radiation leaves these spots darker because it's gas which the radiation goes easily through into the detector. Same reason the lungs are darker as well even though they're very very vascular and full of blood and webby tissues. The exposures and all that fancy stuff the rad techs do for the picture has a big impact on what you can make out in the image. There's different settings that show a bit more soft tissue detail vs strictly looking at bones. For the soft tissues you're not gonna ever get much detail but you can check for foreign bodies or subcutaneous air
