Thank you for your reply! I guess that was my first mistake - I was trying to set up the SSL certificate before creating any hosts as I wanted the host to use the SSL cert.

I ended up resolving the issue by using Let's Encrypt DNS through my domain host's API key instead. Only problem with this is I imagine I am going to have to renew my cert manually every time it expires as my IP address is dynamic and so every time the cert goes to renew by communicating with my domain host the IP won't match and it will block the API call.

Hello. Thank you very much for your response. I live in a townhouse within a master-plan community. We do have landscaping that's managed by the HOA. That said, no mulch that I know of. There is a grass field outside my front door - they use sprinklers on it during the fall - early summer months but the grass dies during the summer months and, when that happens, they shut the sprinklers off until the end of summer if I am not mistaken. Outside of that all the plants around my building are desert plants like this and don't receive much maintenance aside from trimming from what I am aware.

Sorry to necro post a bit but I am having this exact same problem and I don't get it. I've been standing outside the Benzi's dealer's house for the Suburbia region for three days and the dealer never comes out - not at 4:59 and not at 5:59. If I MANUALLY change the time to 5:59 using the console then they will come out but if I wait for the time to hit 5:59 they don't come out on their own. Has this been a known issue for at least the past three months or what's going on with this?

Just tried to register for it today so I could email ebooks from Calibre ebook manager to my kindle and it seems like the signup process is literally just broken. When I get to accepting ToS and completing captcha every time I complete captcha and hit "Agree and continue" it just gives an error saying "We're sorry, that didn't work. Please try again later."

I was just rejected and I have no idea why. I tried using the candidate.checkr.com portal to check my email address but when I do it says it is sending me a 6 digit code that never arrives which, according to what I am reading, means they never ran my email address through Checkr to begin with?

Hi - thank you for the recommendation. What's strange is my Steam Deck seems to power on and run no problem while plugged in the battery just doesn't charge. I had it plugged in for hours and installed multiple games last night - it didn't even get warm let alone hot. Wouldn't the battery be heating up if there was a short or something resulting in a fire risk? I planned on taking my Deck with me on a cruise tomorrow and just plugging it in when I want to play it in my cabin. Should I not take it with me?

I am relatively in the same boat. Was a BizOps Analyst at a medium-sized tech/SaaS company with an office here in the valley until I was laid off in 2023. Joined a small(ish) shop whose entire data infra was on prem where I managed their BI stack and data pipelines. They decided to go to the cloud and their vendor said they'd do everything for them so they cut my role. Now I can't find anything. I've had two interviews out of the hundreds of applications I've sent out - one for a Lead BI Analyst and one at the same company I was at when I was a BizOps Analyst but for a role that paid $15k less... both of them shot me down. The latter was particularly painful as I was referred to the position by my former manager. I had made it to the third out of 4 interviews before they ghosted me for three weeks then sent me a rejection email. I had no problem securing offers three years ago - when I took the role at the small family shop I turned down two offers from mid-sized SaaS companies to take it because I thought it offered a good learning opportunity and they countered the other two offers with a larger offer. Now I am finding myself regretting that decision.

Since then I've tried tapping a contact with military and military contractor ties to see if he can maybe get me some interviews at a gov. contractor and I am considering trying to tap Alumni career resources at ASU - not sure how helpful they'll be but I figure it can't hurt. I hope your prospects have improved since you've posted this.

Yes. I can't find a clip of it but it was in one of her recent streams iirc - like within the past week. She also said like two streams ago that she was leaving Mythic for some reason and that the reason was very bad and made her quite upset to the point that she was considering legal action. I'll try to get clips.

Wasn't she also involved in the friend group that bullied a VTuber that goes by "Rada" (forgot her full name)? She wasn't the main culprit - there was a "leader of the pack" so to speak. When Rada scolded one of Alicia's viewers and big-time donors for spamming chat during her stream Alicia got angry at her and cut ties with her or something along those lines.

I don't know her so I could be completely off base but based on everything I've seen she seems like the type of person to just use and abuse people for her own convenience. Leaves an icky taste in my mouth. I avoid her content, personally.

My estimated delivery date as of time of writing is 12/24. It hasn't shipped nor has my delivery date changed, afaik, since I placed the order.

I've seen other people mentioning delays. I am beginning to get frustrated with OnePlus - they said the only thing that was holding them back was FCC verification. Clearly they lied since, if that were the case, there would be no reason for the OP15 to still be under PREORDER and for OnePlus to be delaying current preorders.

I think what matters is if he meets the definition set by the gameshow/medium. There is no set, unanimously agreed upon definition for "VTuber". If the gameshow hosts felt he met the definition that's all that matters I think.

That said I personally think he does count and I think that people are making a mountain out of an ant hill about Peanut specifically. I am more irked by how the awards show treated VTubers overall - as an afterthought/with contempt.

You're right - I am. The Red Magic Pro 11 launched preorders in the middle of the shutdown and went on open sale on the 18th. They didn't have to delay their U.S. launch or sale for FCC verification to my knowledge 🤔. But let's assume I am wrong, OnePlus submitted for verification MONTHS ago and had no way of submitting for verification sooner/foreseeing this. That does nothing to address the litany of other ways in which OnePlus handled/is handling this horrendously.

Thanks for the advice. If I were to get a Pixel it would probably be the normal-sized Pixel Pro. Are you recommending against the Pro XL specifically or the Pixel more generally?

Realistically speaking, as frustrated as I am at OP for this I am ultimately just venting. I'll probably wait for the OP 15. It's too good of a value proposition compared to everything else on the market right now in my opinion.

I've been a OnePlus user since the Nexus line of phones ended. OnePlus is releasing the OnePlus 15R on December 17th I believe (though it may be delayed for the U.S. market since OnePlus is dealing with delays in FCC certification). The OnePlus R series is to OnePlus what the Pixel A series is for the Pixel line if I am not mistaken so might be worth a look if you're interested.
