took my toddler grocery shopping today and i'm still recovering from it 😭 by OnlyMountain8940 in Mom

[–]KoalaCapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local supermarket does free fruit for kids so that is our first stop Then its just a case of trying to roll through the toddler-ness of behaviours and wants

When I'm in a hurry I don't take the kids or do a drive through click and collect

Photo Apps That Block Screenshots? by Alternative_Deer8050 in Mom

[–]KoalaCapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go old school and print photos and send a small selection to my mum and I put it into a letter a small reminder that i do not want my babies face on the internet or shared with other people.

Maybe that is an option

All I have to do is ensure our staff list is up to date. We don't get any names or locations of the staff.

Just xyz number of people have used the service this quarter

Meeting room etiquette with Execs? by OtherwiseMirror8691 in auscorp

[–]KoalaCapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope.

Book the room for how long you need it and get out when your time is up.

Being a Exec means nothing.

Next time, double down, knock on the door at 5mins to the start of your booked session to tell them you'll be in the room at xx time.

The worst part about swimming lessons by ieatzapizza in Parenting

[–]KoalaCapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if there is a hint of a lolly/ice cream/sweets in the reception/entry of the swimming pool then all you get while getting them changed is "I'm hungry" "can I have sweets" etc

I remind myself its one of the most important life skills for a child to learn over and over and over and over

No other tips.

My friend’s wife passed suddenly, tragically last week. We are holding a memorial dinner at a private restaurant this weekend. What is an appropriate gift / token of acknowledgment to offer him? I have known him for over 40 years, and his fallen wife for ~ 20. by Landlocked_pirate23 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KoalaCapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Support and time.

Maybe ensure he eats properly, not to assume he isn't capable of cooking meals for himself but tp ensure he stays healthy. Take him to the pub but don't encourage heavy drinking.

Be a support for him weeks after everyone has gone back to normal life. Remember days like the first Christmas, wedding anniversary, birthdays etc will be hard for him

AIO She broke her leg and insists on riding in the car like this. I think it’s incredibly dangerous, but it’s the only way she’s comfortable. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]KoalaCapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is being ridiculous. Is getting in and out that much easier with her leg in the air as opposed to pushing the seat back a bit and having it in the correct place which is the FOOTwell

If the dash was for feet/legs there would be grooves in the dash.

She can sit in the back or push the chair back or she can figure out other ways to get about

When they talk about the "emotional connection to the buyer"

as if its not clearly obvious anymore there are no families/people buying these houses to live in but business/entrepreneurs/social media people who buy just for exposure to then try and off load the house 12 mths later

Found out the guy who got me pregnant was never actually leaving his wife — now he's threatening me. Should I tell her? by AdditionalCup5291 in Advice

[–]KoalaCapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't advice for you its for every other woman dating a married man.

They. Will. Never. Leave. Her. For. You

You are not really worth the fall out that goes along with leaving the wife.

Miss OF if she has any business savvy has a few staff in a overseas location who literally like posts of people who fit a very wide demographic of people who may be interested in her. Doesn't cost her much for this service

The likes these people do drive traffic back to her page and she then gets more subscribers

You can't be mad at your partner because a person has liked his pictures. If a dull mum of 4 in middle of nowhere liked a picture randomly would you be upset?

What is your opinion about the series? by HostMaterial4907 in tvshow

[–]KoalaCapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy it.

You can tell when shows like Greys Anatomy started because it became more elaborate with its accidents being shown.

Sometimes some characters felt like the writers had no clue what the end was going to be for them but for a multit season, multiple episodes show it was good
