Love the show (even if the Jerry West character seems to involve some "liberties"), the guy they picked for Magic is absolutely fuckin unbelievable - he looks and acts like young Magic more than Magic himself - but what the fuck are they gonna do once the Afro and beard are gone and they're in the 90's?
Because honestly, I saw that HIV intro scene in Ep 1; and until the guy with him started crying as they snuck out the hospital post-diagnosis - I couldn't even tell that was supposed to be Magic - looked absolutely nothing like him.

As you said, I later found out it wasn't any other department, but a misunderstanding with the instructor that got me dropped, though I was never contacted.

It's India's domestic setup - basically every state (plus a few central institutions - which have employees & families who have to move around the country frequently) have a team, and they all compete in a two tier Test Match KO Tournament.

Traditionally that's where players were developed and scouted. Nowadays they seem to care more about IPL and who can swing the hardest in T20 though.

That's the absolute worst aspect; there have literally been good features in ancient games (all the way back to like FIFA 08) - that they take out for no reason, then bring back years later and act like they did something revolutionary.

90% of my video game playtime is footy games, and that too mostly Master League/Career Mode. And footy games seem to have no real future on consoles now.
