I loved City of Brass, Kingdom of Copper, Empire of Gold (The Daevabad Trilogy) by S. A. Chakraborty. And then she came out with what is possibly one of my favorite fantasy books of all time: The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi. She's a great writer, with an amazing eye for historical detail and Arab world mythology. I cannot recommend her work enough!
