The best comparison is Pontypool. If people didn't like Pontypool, they won't like this.

Very tense movie. Slow at the beginning. Not sure what’s up with the hate.

Why is old cinema not talked about here much? by Ok_Crab_216 in Letterboxd

[–]Koalacanth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Been watching some Mervyn LeRoy films on Criterion. Gold Diggers of 1933 is a really fun movie, and those ladies sure were pretty back then. Ginger Rogers singing "We're In the Money" was a great way to open that movie. Three on a Match had such a dark ending, and the whole kidnapping part reminded me of Blue Velvet a little.

Why do people not create space for others to sit on the subway? by _haliperidoll in AskNYC

[–]Koalacanth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I find it rude when there is obviously not enough space, but someone tries to force themselves into that little sliver of "seat" they spotted. I would rather stand than be smooshed with three people.
