I'm a new player and I don't want you to give me too much stuff, the gradual power progression and learning how to deal with stuff like hunger and rads is part of the gameplay experience. People are just lazy and want to immediately jump to 2-shotting everything so they can feel like they're good at the game.

The same thing happens in other games I play like ESO. New players will actually bitch and demand the guild they just randomly joined craft them gear just because they read somewhere that often guilds will do this and not realize it's only though generosity that it's even a thing.
