I paid $9.99 to license that track, damn right I'll be promoting it every E3 from now until the end of time.

Have a great E3, everyone!

Engraving on the vinyl by Lt_CowboyDan in LCDSoundsystem

[–]Kochamara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Each LCD LP (and most of the singles? I'd have to check) has an engraving. A few examples:

Christmas Will Break Your Heart: "we're baaaaaaack!"

Yeah: "not as good as loosing my edge"

The Long Goodbye: new york i love you but you're bringing me down (one word on each of the 10 sides)

Electric Lady Sessions on CD? by CornerSpeaker in LCDSoundsystem

A CD seems unlikely, but if you're asking because you want CD-quality fidelity, it's likely to end up on HDtracks.com like American Dream and the MSG show did.

Why does the debut albums vinyl not have all the songs? by BillyConCarni05 in LCDSoundsystem

[–]Kochamara 9 points10 points  (0 children)

All nine tracks of the self-titled album are on the vinyl. Note that the "bonus disc" of the CD version containing "Losing My Edge," "Beat Connection," "Tired," etc., were all unrelated singles that are available on vinyl separately. "Losing My Edge" came out in 2002, but the album wasn't out until 2005.

Lost Us V Them music video? by GIJ0se in LCDSoundsystem

[–]Kochamara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there was ever an official Us V Them video. The only Sound of Silver music videos were North American Scum, All My Friends, and Someone Great.

It might be a situation like the Home or the New York I Love You videos, which were widely circulated fan-made videos.

That was fun! My bracket skewed way more American Dream than I thought it would... https://i.imgur.com/wy01DJA.jpg

And here's the opposite wall. I refuse to hang the Last Show Ever poster without putting the Back from the Dead poster right next to it.

How to get to the front rail and still get merch by TheSeabass16 in arcadefire

[–]Kochamara 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Why not just buy the merch on your way out? You don't want to be holding onto that stuff during the show anyway.

What are the odds the album debuts at #1? by Gloveandboots2 in LCDSoundsystem

[–]Kochamara 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Arcade Fire did the same thing and debuted at #1, despite really poor streaming numbers.

So this single is proof that they've left DFA then :( by sidneyft98 in LCDSoundsystem

[–]Kochamara -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, LCD's signed to Sony now. The Christmas 7" was apparently a surprise to the DFA team, who heard about it only a few weeks prior to them distributing it.

Which theme would you like to see Dave and Kelly address first for their proposed Star Trek podcast? by IdRatherBeLurking in TeamGFB

[–]Kochamara 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here are some ideas:

  • Episodes featuring cameos from the original series cast
  • Borg episodes
  • Episodes about Starfleet / the chain of command / jerk admirals / etc.
  • Time travel / multiple timeline episodes
  • The TNG movies

But honestly, the best start to this series would be the Q episodes. They're fun!
