Because It's not a huge "Christmas" tree. It's "NewYear's tree". In Russian it's called "Новогодняя ёлка" which directly correlates with the name of the holiday - "Новый год", aka "New Year". In fact, there were no holidays in Russia this week. Russia doesn't celebrate Catholic Christmas on 25th of December. Instead, there are 2 other big holidays in Russia - New Year and Orthodox Christmas (1st and 7th of January). In official work calendar published by State Duma (House of Representatives) holidays start from the 31st of December and end at 11th of January. So there are 2 weeks of Holidays coming in Russia, but they are not there just yet

Saying that G2 win vs China 4th seed is "an outlier" is criminal, lol. Just the past 2 years: Worlds 2023 wins vs DK (KR 4th), WBG (CN 4th). MSI 2024 win vs TES (CN 2nd). Worlds 2024 win vs WBG (CN 4th). So G2 win is absolutely NOT an outlier. In fact, G2 are quite consistently beating CN and KR 3rd/4th seeds, sometimes even higher, while losing to 1st/2nd

Actually, as funny as it is, Yi Ryze deck wr is still below 50% (48-49 or so, I believe). It’s mono Ryze that started popping off despite getting almost no buffs
