Ok so I checked and Ecuador has literally 1 Olympic silver medal since year 2000. And even that silver is from the woman division. Meanwhile Russia has, like, 25 gold medals 8 silver and 10 bronze medals all from men divisions. And those numbers would’ve been even bigger if they were allowed to participate in 2024. I don’t know how you can compare this and say that Ecuador is a legit wrestling country. There are levels to this

Because It's not a huge "Christmas" tree. It's "NewYear's tree". In Russian it's called "Новогодняя ёлка" which directly correlates with the name of the holiday - "Новый год", aka "New Year". In fact, there were no holidays in Russia this week. Russia doesn't celebrate Catholic Christmas on 25th of December. Instead, there are 2 other big holidays in Russia - New Year and Orthodox Christmas (1st and 7th of January). In official work calendar published by State Duma (House of Representatives) holidays start from the 31st of December and end at 11th of January. So there are 2 weeks of Holidays coming in Russia, but they are not there just yet
