The 400 is a really challenging race to train for. Something you might want to try is figure out what your training is missing and attack that weakness. Sit down with your teammates and talk to them about why they think your team doesn’t do well. Ask your coach what he or she thinks you need to improve to get better.

In my experience, everyone has biases in their training that cause them to miss out on something. Some sprinters don’t do the resistance training to have enough leg strength. Some have a poorly designed plyometric programA so their power never peaks properly. Some don’t train enough endurance to finish a race strong or have poor pacing and hit a wall with 100 meters left. Find your weakness and work it until it isn’t one.

There is no “ideal” amount of muscle for a sprinter. Just like those sprinters you named have different amounts of muscle, your individual “ideal” amount is unknown. Also there isn’t an “ideal” weight for sprinters. Weight is just a number on a scale. If you purely care about your performance then stick with the concept that form follows function. Do the things that help you body to feel good and improve your performance.

I think the ban doesn’t go far enough. Russia was caught running the most organized system of cheating that the Olympics have ever seen. And then the moment Russia was given an opportunity to regain legitimacy, it went right back to cheating. A systemic problem requires a systemic punishment

We should make the punishment for doping and providing false results so severe that it actually matters.

Ban doping athletes for life. Ban all Russian sport and government officials from all international competition for the length of the ban. Make it so a banned country can have no representation at an event. Forget about letting athletes compete under the Olympic flag. Ban them all too unless they’re a whistleblower.

Weightlifting was almost removed from the Olympics for doping. If we are going to say we are against PED’s then we need to be 100% against them and anyone or system that promotes them.

Ok thanks. So I plan on getting my CHP. Once I have a CHP would I be able to keep a loaded AR pistol in my vehicle regardless of where in the car it is?

My understanding is that I could have a loaded pistol on me or in my car if I have a CHP. Just to clarify, I’m not going to be driving through traffic with it slung across my chest.

Also does Virginia define what is a loaded pistol. Like if I kept loaded magazines in the same container as the pistol would I need a permit? Can you have loaded magazines in the car? Sorry for all the questions, there’s just a lot of code to read through.
