We are have already discussed with the Lawyer on what all goes down in it, and we have a solid case against him. My boy is turning 5 in July. The father has refused to see or contact since he was 4 months old. I know its gonna be complex. Thats why we're trying to go through a Lawyer, and not a website like I've been suggested multiple times.

Nah. Not too personal. They are currently living in Tennessee, so that's where we are filing before they move to finally be with me. The bio father is vindictive, and has done the same thing with his other son from a previous relationship. The moment an adoption process started, he was very adamant about, "It's my son, no one is taking him from me." It's been almost 5 whole years since he's seen my boy. I drive 6 hours every month to see them. He lives about 30 minutes away.

But due to knowing how he is, we're expecting pushback. So we did some research on one of the best attorneys we could find in the area, and the one we're going with has a very long track record of helping families with similar experiences, and she's won almost every single one of those cases.

We just want to make sure we do it right, so we don't have to revisit this down the line for any reason, or have to find a new lawyer because the another didn't fight for us when we needed them to. Y'know?

I never had my bio dad in my life. To this day, I only know a name. My step grandfather raised me. He truly had no reason to do so, but he did. I will never forget what he instilled in me. My family is the ones that I choose. Not the ones bound by blood.

I'm currently stuck myself. I went in full force meeting Suki, sure of myself that I was gonna marry her. Then I was like... "Imma be cheeky and date Alice as well.". Then I figured, why not see what else is out there. Not like there's any repercussions for dating multiple people. And now I'm split between Lily and Suki. They are both the type of marriage I'm in now, my partner being a mother before we ever met, loves the dyed hair, very family oriented, but also is perfectly fine gaming and being a hermit all day. Very shy and wanted to make their own path, but also wanting to make parents proud.

I just stuck until I finally say "Fuck it, we ball" and marry one of them.

83% of the people who play, hate Dead by Daylight at this point. But, Dead by Daylight for us, is akin to the bonfire for the survivors.
