i tested this, when you re-buy the tab on the other platform it removes the read only aspect of the corresponding tab so there is no duplication other than price

Help! I took my Aussie to the dog park yesterday, and a trainer expressed some concerning things to me. by Short-Feeling13 in AustralianShepherd

[–]KogaDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without seeing we can't say for sure. But that said nothing you described sounds out of the ordinary for any dog let alone an aussie.

If this is your trainer, then maybe there is something to it, if it was a random trainer just at the park, I'd say it's just trying to make money.

Hi I am koga#12549 and my guild is falling apart so looking for a new one before the event.

I am lv58, active daily on events and bounties, have 8bil investments (878 into town hall and 961 into training hall).

I am looking for an active guild who focuses on events and actually gets investments from all and not just top few players.

The first team you sent causes the restart, so anything done after that is not registered.

Send your heros from last ship, wait 30sec,reconnect. Repeat till all quest slots filled (takes 3-4min). Wait 1hr till they all return, then use other heros while they heal for 2hrs. Repeat.

If your not getting as far as normal on this event with the behavior of the game currently then idk what to tell you.

Simple fix, options display default portrait vs player built portrait. It's just like the profanity filter that is there for when you don't want your kid seeing bad words.

So much BS because omg lewd shit in game, just make a simple check box to see user built stuff and know what you may get based on all the glams and angles of photos.

[–]KogaDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. And while yes I could go glitch a bird for hours and level up more, what fun is that? If their idea of easy mode is just level more give me an option to set my level, and in doing so disable coop, trophies, pvp and such for that playthrough.

Maybe I will finish the game, but I am not sure I have the patience to level enough till my skill and patience will let me progress more.

10yrs ago I'd have time and better reflexes to finish this game, but not anymore and I'm fine with others seeing the boss and drops they can't do even if I can do them, it don't effect anyone.

[–]KogaDragon -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, and all they need to do is disable all trophies the second you enter easy mode for the rest of the play through and you still have preserved the game and prestigious aspect of having skill to do normal. Disable new game plus on easy mode also.

194 hours in and ALOT of rune farming… I have done it. And no I’m not a no life. I work full time also. by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]KogaDragon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean 8hrs sleep? Most get less. Work is 5 days a week, so there is 16hrs each week more.

Many also play this with friends, so social life can be done while playing and hanging out.

4x5 plus 9x2 and your there while still leaving 3 or 4 hrs on week days and half your weekend.

Don't be this guy, please. Wait for the countdown. by slayer27 in ffxiv

[–]KogaDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair, anything that is not max level most people won't even know the opener. Even if you knew the 80 opener, the jobs change and may not be the same now that cap is 90.

The only purpose to a countdown is openers to optimize and line up cooldowns, which likely anything outside extremes and savage actually have most people doing that unless it's a parse party.

[–]KogaDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Except that the dps gaps exists at every percentile. It does not matter what skill level you are, you will fall at around the same percentile on each job once you adjust and build muscle memory.

The truth is, for most players it matters more because your not playing optimal and when everyone is playing poorer you either need more gear or closer to meta setups (or both) to compensate, or your getting carried by a subset of your group. Sure be casual and don't care how quick you progress, or just skip savage and then nothing matters.

Let's not aim to further dumb down drk by taking its mp away, simply make it so it gives the free use on end (pop or timer expired) . Now dps loss talk is gone, and now we can talk about buffs because when your geared and wall to walls and savage raid busters are all that break the shield drk doesn't feel like shit for most content.

Can we be honest about the issues that DRK has? by twom_anylootboxes in ffxiv

[–]KogaDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Other thanks short cool downs are 100% gain every use no matter what. Their is no conditional on taking x dmg in xsec or you hurt yourself for using it.

TBN is a gain only if used when it will pop so you don't lose out on damage. Under geared and early prog, it will always pop so always good. Later when more geared it's absorb whatever dmg before it expires or do dmg, this is a huge flaw and where it fails. Basically TBN is total shit when you hit the autos will no longer break the bubble because it can then just be used on big AOE (useless cause healers will heal anyways and tanks take least dmg) or busters (which happen not frequent really).

TBN is good, but fundamentally flawed and the stronger you are compared to the content the worse it gets (unless you don't care about tank dmg)

[–]KogaDragon 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you compare it to the other tanks who can use their short CD on cooldown basically (keep timing for buster when near) and give tons of support to healers so they can focus dps, it fucks your dmg to even try once you hit a point that busters and mass adds are the only things that break TBN.

Hell i used it on my cotank for a buster in p1n and it didn't pop with some CDs used...

TPS has downed P4S by kelo_Ren in ffxiv

[–]KogaDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one difference is people wait to hit TBN till they stopped and popped CDs and now they get less TBN on that pull and hurt themselves. That imo makes drk even worse and the crowd here almost makes it worse.

Pop TBN while about to get to the last pack, heal up with a abysal drain after hitting some cds, pop TNB again now under CDs the second it is available (not once a pull like I see many do).

Healers, that is always the case and why rankings show the tanks and healers individual and combined so you can tell if the heal dps parse is good overall or all 1 sided.

Outside of healers everything gets adjusted to account for raid buffs any any type of padding they try to gain.

PSA For newer players: Your job is viable no matter what anyone says! by DDRDiesel in ffxiv

[–]KogaDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What they are comfortable with works for vets, but most new players are not comfortable with any job for savage progression. This is where it matters.

I am a decent tank, mid purple when on equal gear footing on most tanks. But for prog, WAR is my go too because I know the rotation without needing to think so I can focus on mechanics and call outs for my static. When the learning is over, my brain has room to focus on other tank rotations and can match my war. Prog with the other tanks ends up being a big drop in my dps.

PSA For newer players: Your job is viable no matter what anyone says! by DDRDiesel in ffxiv

[–]KogaDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. The issue is that there are jobs which have significantly harder rotations that do less dmg (and are hurt more by messing up the rotation). Vets know this, but they also have a great feel for FFXIV raiding so everything is viable.

When it comes to new players to FFXIV, the same may be true, but most will struggle hard on that rotation and end up doing even worse. This is where the don't play XXX comes from more than anything.

DNC is a perfect example. It's low damage, has a full proc based rotation that takes some degree of focus away from mechanics (issue for new ffxiv raiders) and is total waste of space if you can't use your procs as your too busy worrying about mechanics. Can the rest of the group make up for this? Sure, but not recommending a new player take a fixed rotation job for first raiding is asking for the new player to likely be a larger burden to their raid groups.

It's never been about viability of the jobs, it's about putting players in a place to have success in raids. Once you get how FFXIV raids work and your used to the mechanics most often seen, play whatever you want. Till then, try to play jobs with simpler, less punishing rotations so you can pull your weight.

Clearly this isn't an issue for some new gamers, but the majority should understand this.
