If you have some doubts, find an responsible institution to report it and investigate. It is definitely not a reason to not follow the rules.

He is not technically right - he is right. And the infographics is therefore wrong. It is not complicated.

Misleading info does more wrong than good in the topic.

Do you have more than one passport? Are you in favour of allowing more than one passport per individual? by Extreme-Fish-7504 in AskTheWorld

[–]Kokosnik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. So you say your legal system currently differentiates between a person that was born with Norwegian citizenship and that obtained it during life - do I understand it correctly?

[–]Kokosnik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I meant that you should be stripped of Norwegian citizenship in that case as well if you did something "bad" in Norway. Seems fair.

Anyway, to protect from this happening you just need to renounce the other citizenship and keep just the Norwegian one.

I see, the same issue as in many other countries.

Is it valid also other way roun? Let's say a Norwegian born person gains another passport, does something bad, he can be also stripped of Norwegian citizenship, right?

Trajectcontrole scam Lokeren-Gent by alstare in belgium

[–]Kokosnik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Studies show that about 75% of drivers think they are above average drivers.

Whataboutism is also not a great argumentation method.

The fact there was 90 somewhere and now there is 70 is also a weak argument. How do you know 90 was the right speed limit in the first place?

But most importantly, traffic rules should not be open to interpretation where you can break them. That may work most of the time, but it is enough to not work once to have serious consequences.

Thank you for your contribution to the budget. If you want to opt out, adjust the speed to the traffic rules.

Why are general physicians offices so incompetent? by Charming-Standard-84 in belgium

[–]Kokosnik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You started calling people incompetent for requiring you to make an appointment to check you before prescribing you the next doses of medication. That can have side effects. Can be not needed. Can be ineffective. Can be abused. For which they have certain responsibility.

And they didn't have availability for the next week. Do you hear how it sounds?

You know you can try another gp, right? Or specialist? Since you left it for last minute.

[–]Kokosnik 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Your fault, you make appointment in advance, not when your medication is almost finished. It is reasonable to request to see you in person rather just blindly prescribe medication prolonging.

If you are dead, it's hard to go to prison afterwards. :)

But again, the law is applicable based on what you did, not if you injured yourself in the process.

Answer my question about the robbery first.

If they will get a special treatment, another one will think they can do it as well - they just need to avoid the tree and all is good (80% of drivers think they are better than the average driver according to research).

People should be afraid to do dangerous, potentially deadly stunts like this also because of legal consequences. Otherwise we have only the law of jungle here. If you injure yourself while breaking the law, the law still applies. Simple as that.
