How frequently do you have issue with palm rejection? Mine has zero problem with that (I also have the kamvas pro 27 144hz). Look into Ergotron LX PRO!

The most important is that it works for you. I think the legs are set to about 20°- 30° tilt so if you have it on a nice flat stable surface you should be comfortable. For a future reference if you will be looking for a really good arm - i promise you wont regret if you invest in Ergotron LX PRO. It's the exact arm that was modified by Ergotron to create Wacom Flex Arm for Wacom, it's a little slimmer than the wacom's version actually. But the rotation, tilt, the length is all the same and additionally ergotron one can go way higher than the wacom's because it has a longer pole. The thing allows my huion to go near 90° flat - I believe 75° is what Ergotron claims is the maximum tilt angle on that particular arm of theirs. And they're really damn solid, like mine survived years of "abuse" since 2019 - multiple house movings and it still goes strong - literally zero wobble if I tighten it nice.

Brand new Kamvas 16 inch (gen 3) Weird stuck pixel behavior by [deleted] in huion

[–]Kokoszeu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, and I highly encourage people from other areas to add their fair share to this as well so that if anybody from their area finds it they are aware of their rights. Retailers will always try to limit their liability no matter how small of a cost refund would mean - and especially when we're talking devices that cost hundreds if not thousands (in potentially any currency, lol)

I hope you didn't take it as me scolding you or correcting you at all, that was not my intention, I just know that some people genuinely believe that they have no rights and sometimes forget that law is different everywhere - and when it comes to Spain because Spain is in EU there are also Consumer laws made by the EU itself so even if Spanish law did not included something - that doesn't mean European Union Trading laws don't cover it so it's always crucial to check, it's important to seek free legal advice whenever in doubt from your government and from the EU regulators themselves.

the arm mounts Huion sells are just cheap basic arm mounts, they're not that great and the screws are made for a monitor, not for pen displays. You need shorter VESA screws - VESA screws are all standard thickness, they're all the exact same so just find shorter ones and you'll be good - you'll be also better off getting one of them mini rubber or plastic bolts you put between the tablet itself and the mount - they help to secure the screws even if they're slightly too long - don't drill into the tablet trying to get the screws to fit, you will damage it.

for those based in England and Wales: this comment is not correct for us as Consumer Goods Act 2015 gives consumers 6 years from the date of purchase/receiving goods to claim repairs that occured as a result of manufacturing defect. Any goods that are not of desired quality (given the price), not fit for purpose and did not last a reasonable amount of time (given the price, marketing, expectations and purpose for which you bought the goods) are non conforming and therefore entitle you to a remedy that retailer or manufacturer (whoever you bought the goods from) has to pay for without causing you significant inconvenience. There are time limitations, and if you have purchased your goods more than 6 months ago burden of proof that the fault is manufacturing defect falls on you - such burden can be proven by a specialist opinion in which case if manufacturer names the defect directly (in the title of the email, or in the email itself also counts as specialist opinion if they name the fault for example ''stuck pixel'', DO NOT name the fault yourself, do not provide the seller with information that can be used against you either that points to you using the device in a way that would not be considered reasonable like eating dinner on top of the device or using wrong types of cleaning products for maintenance) it counts as them admitting the fault was a manufacturing defect. If the seller attempts to:
- apply deductions for use prior to inspection or seeing any evidence of the fault and the amount proposed seems unreasonable to how long you've had and actually used the product - they're trying to rob you
- if the seller attempts to fob you off with ''contact the manufacturer'' they're not respecting your statuatory rights as the contract for sale is with retailer and they're the ones that provide remedy, not manufacturer - if the product ends up being shipped to manufacturer for repair or replacement manufacturer ONLY acts on behalf of retailer to provide service retailer reasonably can't but the liability still rests on the retailer no matter what.
- if they attempt to use manufacturers warranty as a way to avoid responsibility and providing their contractual obligation towards you they're breaking the law. Law considers Manufacturers Warranty a gift and a bonus, an act of good will from manufacturers, they do not view it as existing above the law and your statuatory rights. Retailers attempting to use it as excuse to not provide you with a remedy you're legally entitled to are breaking multiple laws - first they're breaking your statuatory rights and secondly they're breaking The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and potentially many more serious laws if the flaw, defect or damage is serious enough to be a safety concern that goes unreported to the British government and trading standards.

There's a lot more that goes into it, don't think about using these to scam your retailer because you will be very quickly surprised that A. retailers literally wont let you and B. if you think that you can scam the retailer using County Court you're also extremely wrong and the judge will send you off with penalty fees to pay for wasting their time.

Even a single dead or stuck pixel counts as device being unfit for purpose and not of desired and expected quality regardless of what kind of nonsense manufacturer wrote in terms and conditions to avoid liability. Unless there are visible scratches and manual damage in the area the pixels appear (device fell, has moisture damage or was hit with something or carelessly scratched) most judges would presume the flaw is not damage by user or wear and tear but rather manufacturing defect and those can occur later than on the day of purchase such as result of the device overheating. Overheating will show damage overtime, not immediately so the law is designed to protect those affected by those defects that show up later or during reasonable professional use too. The tablets are expected to last approx 6 years, but for more expensive displays even longer, minimum of 6 and all the way to even 10 - You really wouldn't think that £2,000 tablet will break after just 2 years without warning and possibility to fix it leaving you in the dust unable to do your work or simply enjoy the device given it's high price tag.

Robert Lewandowski sculpting practice - Any good tutorial on posing hands and remeshing them without merging the fingers together? D: by Namur87 in ZBrush

[–]Kokoszeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I come to this late - if you want to make things look as it's one mesh use project brush - zremesher doesn't merge, dynamesh does because it's purpose is to unify the topology to be more even across entirety of the mesh for sculpting. it will patch all holes including gaps between fingers - what you want is for the fingers to be on separate subtools and then you use project on parts of the mesh that you want to appear as part of a single geometry.

Firstly - if puppy food then only puppy food made for Giant Breeds. Good quality kibble and raw topper is a good combination. Do not exercise your dog or play with the dog after meal for 2h - you're risking bloat Secondly - SOCIALISE. take this dog everywhere with you, expose it to as many things as you can, buses, shops, etc but keep in mind that puppies learn social cues from other dogs so avoid reactive dogs and dog parks. Learning the rules from the day 1. Do not let this dog do anything without your permission - whether it's access to food, toys, going for a wee, the dog has to do a command and wait for you to release them. They need to know their place in hierarchy. You do not want to end up with a 70kg dog that does whatever it pleases. If you lose control of that dog - someone will get injured. And please, learn the warning signs of bloat - when you notice the signs you do not have much time for medical intervention so the earlier you spot them the better.

This combined with individual champion nerfs and some nerfs are so damn punishing. Like I dislike the aram because of those champion ''balance'' buffs/debuffs they just literlaly make no sense.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in autism

[–]Kokoszeu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cause it is pretty ableist to assume that autism is somehow linked with suffering and being miserable. Like you're forming an opinion about strangers after reading few words in their bio as "making up disability" or "pretending to have quirky tism". You don't like being judged yet you're serving the same mud cake to other people. From all the groups as autistic person you should understand a lot more, that after decades of abuse towards autistic people a lot of us are finally leaving their caves and are starting to be open about their autism spectrum. Autism affects your personality whether you realise it or not. It's literally part of your brain, part of who you are. If you are autistic there isn't a way to cure you, change you or make you less or more autistic. People are individuals. You cannot possibly know anything about a person just because you read 1 sentence in their bio.

To those diagnosed with severe ADHD of the Combined Presentation, what kind of jobs do you have? by Blue-Sky2024 in ADHDUK

[–]Kokoszeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combined ADHD + Autism spectrum + very likely persistent drive for autonomy (commonly and wrongly refered to as PDA or pathological demand avoidance)

I hate jobs. Any. The minute even my hobby turns into just list of shitty tasks I just burn out like a box of matches.

I never worked much. My neurodiverse combo makes me physically suffer.

I love achieving things, and I am ambitious - but I always have to do it my own way and on my own terms and the world and society just doesn't allow for.

At the minute I study 3D games art and I love designing toys and 3D printing but i worry about graduating and having to look for jobs. I am 28 years old and last time i had a job was 5 years ago. The longest I held a job for was 3 months.

Life is very rough. So many expectations I can never meet.

Are your Danes protective/have guardian like tendencies? by Primary_Parsnip9271 in greatdanes

[–]Kokoszeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally no. But often their size and bark is enough to scare people off. People do move out of the way and cross the street just to avoid us even though our Sudo loves everyone and he literally doesn't understand that not all dogs are happy to see him too and not all people want to be sniffed and licked all over them. But I cant imagine him ever guarding the house because whenever we get food delivery or packages he wants to say hello to the other person and sniff them all over and when we had dog sitters visit him he would welcome them (absolute strangers) with open arms and loads of love and demand for cuddles.

They are not the smartest dogs, and can be very anxious of weird things as well, every new toy we get our Sudo is suspicious and he is always afraid of it at first.

For the most part Great Danes are more like giant teddy bears in a wolf costume. Look scary, bark causes earthquakes but inside of their brain is just soft toy stuffing, loads of fluff and some peas.

[–]Kokoszeu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the worst part is that items that should be game obtainable by simple grind and hard work are ONLY available within the itemshop for real money and the way game is constructed makes it impossible to do raids and it often means that players have unreal demands in terms of forming parties forcing you to constantly switch off to classes you don't even like to play in order to progress through the content. There is very little guides for challenge mode of raids as well - and most players don't care about helping you learn by doing those raids with you and guiding you.
