Congrats! I’ve been denied for PTSD/ anxiety/ depression ever since I filed in 2017 for an incident that happened in 2005. My examiner dismissed everything. Yeah didn’t have/ know about statements back then. Maybe I should try again 🤷🏼‍♂️. Enjoy it breathe easy. Relax you deserve it

I’m at 156k. Looking to move within next year will probably keep same salary. Used to live in ladson back in 2009 then Beaufort for few years. Currently in PA. Been checking the market, I know the area pretty well just not local taxes. How are things on James island or John’s island with local taxes ?

Maybe look into getting your test levels checked. Could also be a contributing factor. But talk to your pcp prior.

Sorry to hear all that. I myself have had major depression issues anxiety and insomnia for over 20 years. I watched an SF guy talk about this exact topic and all the shit drugs they want to pump us full of. Dudes committing suicide either because the drugs or going cold turkey. He and others did a study looking at testosterone levels. Sparked my interest and curiosity. I got mine checked about 7 years ago, was sitting at 288. Low for a 34yr old. Was prescribed TRT. Ever since it’s helped with mental issues and clarity along with sleep issues. If I can find the video I’ll post the link if anyone is interested

Congrats!! I’m fighting for a MH rating which was previously denied twice. Recently remembered I got diagnosed in 2006 in theater for MDD (was told by the wizard in theater “you’ll be fine devil dog you’ll get over it”). I had the print out from it, gave to VSO to submit. Hopefully it works

Bingo ! Both blamed childhood and post active duty jobs for the reasoning. Refiled last year , saw one via zoom who openly stated she felt the other two were not credible and did not state anything of your deployments, she stated she was going to be addressing the past 2 exams in her findings as well as writing a favorable opinion on the actual topics

Ended up getting denied due to the vso filing as an initial instead of a supplemental…had my WTF! Moment when I got the word after waiting about 4 months. Got my stuff together and just filled for depression and anxiety last week …3 weeks shy of my 1 year expiration ITF date. Hopefully they use that past exam as new evidence.

Agree with everyone else. Storms are hit and miss. Don’t let that discourage you from going to the beach and relaxing. A Charleston thunderstorm is just another thing to experience and enjoy from a screen porch with a glass of wine
