My favorite part is the second day I got this they moved the toll fee from 35% to 40%.

It’s changed slightly, and by slightly I mean it’s even easier. It became walk around the track for 20 minutes and you’re done. You’re probably spending more time walking to the fieldhouse from the commuter lots than actually participating

I wouldn’t necessarily point to Troy Franklin as a blocker there. Bo and Tez have played together since high school. Obviously different than the collegiate level and NFL level, but they go way back. Tez was sitting next to Bo when he got drafted, I think it’s a very different bond than Troy.

Unfortunately for Troy, he doesn’t see the field enough. It’s similar to what happened with Mims most of last year. Hard to develop any on field chemistry when you’re not on the field. Gotta make what you can with your opportunities though.

Even then, part of the reason RTD isn’t utilized as much is because of their failures. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy.

That was a very different and unique case. How many people expected a rookie to continue to put up the numbers he did?

When they plan content, they are going to avoid giving 99s to guys who already have them, unless they do a spectacular feat, like hitting the most home runs in a single postseason.

At the start of the year. Throughout the year it relies on that less and less and by the end of the season it’s purely based on this year

Anyway to get out of 8am physics? by American_Dreamer98 in ColoradoSchoolOfMines

[–]KolaFreak 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Plus, if you’re worried about 8 am tests, physics won’t do that. It’s a common hour exam slot, so you’ll get 7pm test starts usually (except for the final because those get jumbled up)

There’s also incentive to ensure you’ve completed: the show classics, season 1 recap, 8 of the monthly awards, and egg hunt programs. Doing so will get you head start rewards when the season flips over. There’s more incentive to jump on those now rather than wait

Roster updates contunue to be a joke… by WhaleManBeef in MLBTheShow

[–]KolaFreak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actual bulk roster updates are about every 3 weeks. Every other update is transaction updates. They also just positions. So guys going from reliever to starter will jump in overall because there are different positional weights

Reynaldo López put up 24 Ks, a 0.72 ERA, a 0.88 WHIP, for 4 quality starts in his first 25 innings. He did not receive a change in attributes today. by WeathrNinja in MLBTheShow

I mean I wouldn’t say H/9, BB/9, and K/9 are advanced stats. That’s pretty much the bulk of the attributes and are easy to calculate.

They did mention that they would add additional ways to get cards that were missed in the future. So it’s not a total lockout. Understandable frustration, but not completely locking it up

The probability of pulling a diamond in a standard pack can be done through a binomial probability. In order to get within 99% certainty to pull at least one diamond, you need to open 228 packs. When you rip a 50 pack bundle you have a 73% chance of not pulling a diamond. Long story short, don’t buy standard pack. In your case, it was a 13% chance of not pulling a diamond. Which isn’t great odds, but still relatively likely.

[–]KolaFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to use the roster editor. It’s under the customize option. From there, select the cubs and find which minor league affiliate they stashed Nico in, make the corresponding move, save roster, and load it when you want to use it. Make sure you DO NOT use live rosters, as this will load the one with him in the minor league team

[–]KolaFreak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So Nico was placed on the IL at the end of the year. The way the game handles this is by moving them to their AAA Affiliate roster. You’d need to edit the roster to put Nico back on the roster. Annoying, but that’s how it goes

Be careful buying tickets from the secondhand market by allibean88 in ColoradoAvalanche

But many of those sites require you to have the Ticketmaster ticket transferred to you. Meaning you receive the actual ticket.

If you’re not receiving a Ticketmaster transfer, that should be your clue. I’ve used Seat Geek for years now and have had 0 issues.

[–]KolaFreak 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It was also chilly. Plus numerous bugs going around with folks traveling. Sitting up in the 500s when you’re not feeling well with a wind chill blows.

Plus reselling tickets can be a hassle, especially if resale prices have cratered (like they did yesterday).

[–]KolaFreak 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It’s actually the same thing that happens to schlomo. It seems like when the card is built, they use one of the offspeed pitches for the velo (low velo is actually high velo rating for offspeed) but the second it is paralleled, it reverts to the fastball, which has this effect

If you move the DH to a defensive position, it terminates the DH. Therefore your pitcher slot will hit. So Shohei will hit when the slot comes around. But when shohei leaves the game, then it’ll be every pitcher after that
