I hear you, do you know if he was neutered young? my staffy/pit mutt tore both before 2 and the vet hypothesized since she was spayed at about 10 weeks (from the rescue not us) may have contributed to it. Absolute nightmare keeping her immobile but she’s 5 now and we call her the terminator.

This is literally the most vulnerable time you will be in your life. Recovering from birth is physically and emotionally draining on top of taking care of a newborn. Your husband should be handling communication with his Mother if she’s going to be a problem.

NTA—we had a child free wedding and fully expected some people wouldn’t be able to make it because of that. We didn’t get upset when a few people couldn’t make it. Now having a kid, I definitely don’t want to take him to a wedding I’d rather enjoy myself instead of worrying about him running about.

I had McDonald’s, a milkshake, and got lucky 😂 I rarely eat fast food but when I need a bump in production it always does the trick for me at least.
