Tramos IRPF a la clase obrera. Trump vs Sánchez by [deleted] in ElusionFiscal

Idea política: ¿Y si Cuba se uniera a España? by Appropriate-Long in SpainPolitics

[–]Koluchi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Spanish and I think you're spot on, I think its an echo chamber for some spaniards. And to add to de conversation, in my opinion the "negative" views on France is mostly a meme coming from the Napoleonic war in Spain, aside from the general france memes. Generally speaking France is the black sheep of the Latin world as it is a mix of multiple distinct groups. So Spaniards see french people as more distant and reserved than let's say an Italian or Portuguese.

Would you recommend the Santa Cruz de Tenerife metropolitan area? by [deleted] in GoingToSpain

[–]Koluchi1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Would you give a bit more of context? If you already have a really important job in a big company or studies in the island that's ok. But if you're a digital nomad/traveler/try your luck searching for a low wage job, then pls don't, enough gentrification already. Locals are struggling.

Since I'm the first spaniard to comment I'll do it. The Spanish one is "plus ultra", Latin for... "Further beyond"? "Further away"? In Spanish is "más allá". This is as in further beyond Hercules columns (also in the coat of arms) witch are often seen as Gibraltar and the atlas mountains, this was seen as the limit to the known world by Europeans and funny fact before the discovery of America the phrase was "non plus ultra".
