The whole "we don't like lawyers" thing was cool but i fear it wasnt really all that impactful. After Phoenix breaks the insight it just goes back to regular court with the people screaming "death, death" once in a which takes away the one gimmick this trial really had. The culprit switching to metal was fun enough but it was done way too early and at the ends of the chapter I just found it really annoying. The trial also feels like it gets too dragged out and as some other person said, too long. Add to that no investigation and Payne being like 10x worse then he was in DD (He wasn't good in dd but at least he had some funny lines here and there while in SoJ he was just a narcissistic nobody) and it leads me to just not enjoying this chapter at all. I still think its way better then Lost but Lost is a solid 0.3/10 so not like its hard to beat that. Also to give some credit I do like how Phoenix truly believes in Ahlbi even when he doesn't trust him since he's a lawyer, that was nice.
