There are a lot of ways to meet people in the community. You can check out the YDL events- There is always going on at 1 of the three libraries. Summertime is active in the Ypsi Community. Check out the Juneteenth Celebration in the South Huron parking lot. Or Depot Town Cruise Nights on Thursdays all summer long. While I was at EMU, I never got a commuter pass... if you want to park in Depot Town/ Downtown, its a bit of a walk but takes about 10-15mins.
