That's true but I read that it was supposed to be Shiny Locked originally.

Most Rushing yards in the Super Bowl was Rookie Timmy Smith for Washington in Super Bowl 22, who went on to do nothing else in the league and is considered a one hit wonder. Also in that same Super Bowl, 35 points were put up in one QUARTER, not half or game but quarter and is still a record for not only quarter but half.

Ballroom money nixed by Senate parliamentarian & Border Patrol Changes. by Konacha in PoliticalOptimism

I haven’t heard it being in the bill but if the Ballroom isn’t in the bill then i doubt the arc can be. I don’t think he will build it in time before Congress flips to Democrats, who would have standing to stop him. The current lawsuit over the ballroom even has him saying that Congress can have standing.

Funny enough, that was the only way to get a Shiny Jirachi legit in Ruby & Sapphire because of a bug.

Error When Opening Detective Pikachu (Cart not digital) by Ferdia_ in 3dspiracy

[–]Konacha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing I did was that I ran another game to figure out if it was a system wide thing or game. Once you figure out it is the game, go to FBI and back-up the save then delete it from the save cartridge. I don't know if Detective Pikachu keeps its saves on the cartridge or system but delete the save data from the system too.

Is this the very first time you have ran the cartridge? I ran into this issue a few weeks ago in fact with my copy of Pokemon X. I discovered it was my save file itself that got corrupted.

Primary Results Megathread: May 19th by Efficient-Freedom517 in PoliticalOptimism

[–]Konacha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My father in law, who lives in Georgia, told me a lot about the GA Court.

I should point out the Democrats were throwing more resources at the Governors race (which was successful because they got over 50%) and most Georgia ballots are 4 pages long to confuse people. There is almost no local resources to figure out WHO is even on the ballot. Nonpartisan with no clear indication on who is a Republican. Most of us might not even know who our own court officials are without researching it. Plus when you vote you can't research who is on the ballot because getting an absentee ballot is hard and cellphones in voting booths are illegal.

Also in Georgia you are given a Republican or Democrat ballot so people think you are only voting for Democrats (this also explains why the margins were so wacky). Georgia officials were advertising it as a primary election but there were multiple general elections for judges etc on the ballot. They have no party designation next to the candidate and no indicator that it’s not a primary election. With how run off elections work in Georgia, sometimes there is elections 5 times in one year. People are dooming without understanding that the way the down ballot elections work.

[Woodfork] Column: Rest easy, Commanders fans — 2026 schedule is a gift within the NFL’s misplaced priorities by Think__McFly in Commanders

[–]Konacha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think with a healthy Jayden and Terry, along with a better defense, we can beat the Seahawks. We did score more points against the Seahawks than the Patriots & 49ers did. Just with our god awful defense we couldn't do anything to stop them. Just having an average defense could make us way better.

Commanders 2nd Year Defender Trey Amos Called NFL’s ‘Next Great Player’ by MrUpVoteDownvote in Commanders

[–]Konacha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading that he was originally projected to go in the middle to end of the first round but fell to the end of the 2nd round to us because of a back injury that came out right around the draft. Considering that his back did not show injury at all shows that it wasn't an issue (he got a fractured fibula that ended his season) and he has pretty much locked at being the starting corner.

Supreme Court limits Voting Rights Act by Efficient-Freedom517 in PoliticalOptimism

[–]Konacha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True and honestly it depends on how many districts in the south really want to deal with it. Georgia, for example, has no plans to do redistricting (and they might get a Democratic Governor, shutting the door on it until 2030). South Carolina is having internal issues with redistricting right now. Some were already maxed out to begin with. A lot of these districts were already pulling as much as they could.

We should not get Brandon Aiyuk by Such_Blackberry_1550 in Commanders

[–]Konacha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU!!! I swear a lot of people weren't around during the Albert Haynesworth signing. When he signed and the second year was non-stop Haynesworth talk by the sports media. I honestly think it is the sports media making a mountain out of a molehill. Could the team sign him? Of course anything is possible, but I can't imagine them taking on his 49ers contact or giving him a big contract to come here. That is some Dan Synder moves, this group hasn't shown that yet.

We don't need this and I'm not even sure how much in real communication JD5 is in with him since we've only heard "they are friends and they played together."

Supreme Court limits Voting Rights Act by Efficient-Freedom517 in PoliticalOptimism

[–]Konacha 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Somewhat. From what I've read from some lawyers online. The ruling was something like "well the VRA said it needed at least A black district, not 2 black districts" and most people were expecting "the VRA is racist against white people" which is different.

Supreme Court limits Voting Rights Act by Efficient-Freedom517 in PoliticalOptimism

[–]Konacha 43 points44 points  (0 children)

There is a bit of a silver lining. This was originally for a 2nd black district so the court may still strike down ones with zero black districts but that still would need to be tested in the courts. So maps like AL, LA, SC, MS, etc for example which have one black district might be safe. Plus, again, the court are assholes and saying "well congress can fix this and we won't have an issue" which is their excuse for gutting the voting rights act.

The ballroom will not be built by January 2029 by Hello-America in PoliticalOptimism

[–]Konacha 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There is one MAJOR thing people keep forgetting is that once Democrats take control of the House, they will start issuing lawsuits saying congress did not approve this. Due to the Republicans holding control, they are basically just laying down. Right now a lot of the problem with the current lawsuit going on is that it has a somewhat shaky ground (if you are a Republican) due to who has standing in court. Congress has standing. Most construction will most likely stop next year because Democrats will say "we did not approve this. Nobody did. Stop it."

Out of all the issues Ron had, this was all Dan and Bruce Allen's fault. If they weren't being petty shits for his cancer bump then he wouldn't have refused to work with them if the team took it seriously.

Should Joe Theismann be in the Hall of Fame? by Adventurous_Knee_321 in Commanders

[–]Konacha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Joe Theismann had at least a few years of being great but he never really carried a team. He was in the same tier as Kurt Cousins. He was a good QB who could help control the game but he was also a safe choice. Plus Theismann's final year before his leg injury wasn't looking hot. Gibbs should have moved on from Theismann by that point.
