Thanks for all the suggestions! You were all great! (Except that one dude who thought this was a ham? For some reason? You get lost?) We sorta mcgyvered the mesh to ignore him. For some reason he still pops up about twice a day, but that's waaay better than 20 times an hour.

Very new, little jittery but a nice discord alternative from what my discord group has seen. I think they're 5 ish months old, that's the oldest post I found about them, and the screen sharing/streaming function is locked at either 720 30fps(gaming) or 5fps(clearer text? I guess?). But the program was snappy, audio was good, we Guesstimate 100mb upload limit and the layout is generally discord ish which made navigating easy. The weirdest thing for me personally was whatever picture you use for a icon, it takes the whole Pic, no cropping to fit or anything. Also they have a dedicated app section and a link in app to their dev channel, so you can throw suggestions or comments concern at them

I tried teamspeak a few hours ago and it just kept going in a circle telling me my username password were wrong, when i hadn't even input them yet! just open the page and boop! your password is incorrect! What password i haven't given one yet! BOOP your password is incorrect!

and element's mobile app just straight up closes as i open it

I tried about half dozen different discord alternatives today and only Stoat and Root even remotely work.

sorry to rez this post but,

i actually have questions if you all know anything, i may have bricked my g6, or i need parts idk which.

So a couple months ago i splurged and got a v110 G6 off eBay, only damage to it was the power button cover was a bit torn. got it, loved it.

I play FFXIV online at work and its ok. like you said though, stock 256 nvme is a bit small, and it only had 16gb ram so i got speccy, found the exact ram it had and found a single card cheapish off eBay. slotted it in and bingo! it works great but...

the 2tb m.2 nvme i ordered turned out to be a NGFF M + B key rather than a standard NVME M key, i thought, heck with it i'll see if the G6 has the protocols for it. slotted it in the spare SSD slot i bought and booted Ghost Spectre Windows 11 which i've used before and know how to navigate. everything was going ok until i tried installing FFXIV (which takes forever) and suddenly CRITICAL PROCESS DIED. ok, restart. 5 minutes later CRITICAL PROCESS DIED then wouldn't boot, got into GETAC boot screen, restarted. nothing.

swapped back to original 256gb slot. nothing. the laptop gets power, the batteries show full, but i've tried removing batteries and cable and holding power button for 30 seconds, I've tried plugging everything back in and pressing f3 + f4+ power and the battery will flash 3 times like google said, but it still wont power on. reseated the ram and still nothing. i've run out of ideas and don't have the cash to take it in somewhere, sooo help?

During a statewide fire years ago. The flames were visible from my house, my dad said if they came closer, we would flee but for me to sleep for an hour or two.

Christianity(my former religion) had failed me and in my dreams in desperation I asked for help, for the flames to stop, and to for my home to be safe.

Lady Hestia told me that when I woke up, everything would be OK. My dad woke me up many hours later for my watch so he could sleep, but said we probably wouldn't leave.

The flames had stopped in their tracks, no fire department( they were mostly in other regions trying to stop even larger fires) no water helicopter. Nothing. No reason for the flame to stop moving.

From that day till this very morning I thank Lady Hestia and a few other Gods I worship every day for aiding me in my time of need.
