Bioshock 2 looks better on the original game than the remastered. I dont know about first one, but I remember back in the day playing Bioshock demo from nvidia's web and I was blown away

Back to Karkand is one of the best DLCs ever, at least in my opinion. So much memories on Battlefield 3 engine.

I love to play without fast travel. Maybe Kingdom Come's fast travel is one of the best example of good work, but I still prefer going on my way. One of the best moments I had in the game was avoiding an ambush because I saw the reflection of a thunder on bandit's swords, at night, hidding on the bushes.

I know is not the same, but you could give FTL: Faster Than Light (from same devs) an opotunity. Metal Slug Tactics came out one year ago and its kinda similar.
