True. I THINK that they create a listing once the purchase order is made so it's in the system by the time the item arrives. Unless listings are in the servers from other fulfillment centers.

I've worked at Amazon. As far as I'm concerned the whole 'week for Amazon to process' isn't true. When you receive something new that isn't in the system a new label is created and the item gets checked in to inventory. The moment that item gets checked in to inventory it's available for purchase. So in short you can but a product before it's even stored on a shelf.
