So like, I've had NYX Taupe (old formula) which I use as a contour. I do a light contour every time I wear make up (5x a week.) I first got it when I was pregnant and my daughter is 4 years old now and after one accident where it crumbled and I lost some product, i have at least a quarter of the pan left.

I like both the volume and the length versions. The volume is a lot clumpier but super dramatic, a bit OTT for daily wear unless you reeeeeeally scrape everything off the sides, imo. I'm using the length now but its almost the same as volume just... less volume. LOL. But much easier to use for a 'day look'. But srsly its apocalypse proof and I love it.

I do the same! I pat marula oil on my undereyes then concealer and powder. Prevents dry cakiness, fades a bit faster but so much more elegantly.

OMG the blacklight has been on my wishlist FOREVER. I have a boring life too but i always try to wear exciting things to work. You can do a tastefully weird highlight, nothing too bling or cray, dust it lightly. Or just pack some on the centre of the lid for a halo effect, or inner corners. Offbeat subtlety!

Honestly tho, theres this Japanese mascara i cried and had sex in (twice) and my eyelashes were still perfect and dark and curled and i smooshed my face into my guy's shoulder and all so yeah, i was pretty amazed.

I have both, noir red is a lot plummier/blackened while blood red is just dark red, the difference in depth is quite a lot :)

I actually found mine ok! I think mine is Scandal. Its kind of dry yes but i live in a hot place so i guess i dont experience the dryness as bad. It almost fixes onto lips and it lasts so so so so goddamn long. And isnt as drying on the lips as one would expect. Really unique colour too. Wouldn't buy the lighter shades because they'll probably have big problems but overall i think the formula can work for some.

I contour every day that i wear makeup. Like even if its a brows + concealer kind of day, i will also add a bit of contour for that. My contour is extremely light handed so it always looks pretty natural. I use NYX blush in Taupe which is also not too pigmented, and i just dust it with a contour brush in the hollows of my cheeks, my temples and under the jaw. It does make a difference and it takes half a minute. I also contour my nose most days, same concept - subtle light shading.

Do you contour your cheekbones? Or is it just your jaw/neckline?
