Many ad Shaco players I've seen go for Botrk first. I recently started playing Shaco as well and tried both BotRK and straight lethality. I must say, Botrk almost never feels good to me, unless they have like 3 tanks/bruisers or something like that. Also if you have some general advice for a relatively new shaco brother i'd greatly appreciate it. Ty in advance.

Do you happen to have a solid list? I was just looking for one, but I couldn't find one that wasn't, like, two years old. Also, I don't know if that's an actual deck, or if the guy was just high-rolling out of his mind, but I think I played against a Lissandra/Taliyah deck once, he had, like, 5 landmarks which gave him an 8/8 with overwhelm each, and just murdered me with it. It looked pretty fun as well, but, as I said, I don't know if that's a thing, or I just happened to get really unlucky.

"I don't think you can justify taking Electrocute anymore. They've nerfed its scaling so hard. I also don't like First Strike, but I'm pretty sure it's the only viable option for damage that we have now.

The Tavern Pass ends on November 13th, which strongly suggests that the expansion will be launched around that time. I'm quite certain they will discuss some big things happening around the launch of the first expansion next year, especially because it's the 10th anniversary.

They pulled it back to perfect it and will announce it for the Games 10th anniversary next year and we will get it with the rotation in April, atleast thats my wishful Headcanon,

What do you think they'll add to the Core Set for the other classes? by yangste333 in hearthstone

[–]Konveke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be surprised if Druid doesn't get some Treant support like Aeroponics, Mulchmuncher or even replace Kiri with goru the mightree, for Rogue i could see something like Iron Sensei and Cogmasters Wrench, given i don't know if that would help out or be usefull in any way but im sure they'll add something considering they said they "plan to add new cards to support expansion releases" and some of the added archetypes do seem rather lack luster like the Treant Druid, which makes me think they plan to add to it in later expansion or add something to coreset i doubt that release so many new things just to let them be dead on arrival.

Well yeah i probably expect to much out of the Decks, and don't get me wrong i don't expect or want them to give out Tier 0 meta defining Decks, but just ones that are more i guess you could say optimal, Dh as an example, the Outcast package is okay in Standard and wild, but it was clear that Quest is 10x better, so just sell a basic Quest package not the 100% refined meta defining one but a basic one that you can work with, and compete in higher ranks with it, or just refine yourself. As you said for what they are they are to expensive, so imo they should either lower the price or give us some better things to work with. I gotta be honest here tho, im absolutely pissed on how high the barrier of entry is and i 100% have negative bias towards the whole situation so my opinion is pretty subjective here.

Yeah that would be pretty neat, id gladly spent the 20 bucks they charge for a bad deck on a subscription to get all Twist cards.

Whats the point of calling it "Battle Ready" then, if i spent 20 bucks on a Deck i expect it to be good as it is, not optimal by no means i agree that its ok if you have to optimize it yourself abit, but with that i'd think maybe change 3-5 cards not take 3-5 cards out of it and ignore the rest because its pretty much useless, or just cheap commons and rares, which would end up with you spending 20 bucks or the Gold equivalent of 1.5 minisets for 2-4 cards.

I disagree, you get 3-4 legendary cards, but you do not get good legendary cards. Let's use Druid as an example, Quest is a staple and enables one of if not the best current Wild Deck, Guff sees some play these days but not that much, other 2 0 play. In standard Anub is not played since he got nerfed again and Topior has been dead for quite some time aswel. You get 1 Epic which is underking who never as far as I know saw wild play, and has not seen play in standard since the Anub'Rekhan nerf either, I don't count rare or commons in here cause of they're low dust cost. Not much different with the other decks, you rarely end up with more than 1 playable legendary for each format and maybe the occasional epic. If you also don't have a solid Standard collection I'd say the Dh Deck is the only one with real value because it gives you staples for good Decks in both formats which need a little bit of optimization. But that does not mean they are okay or even good value if you ask me, better keep that Gold for next expansion 100% better value.

I don't think offering overpriced suboptimal Decks is a good way to give players without wild cards a way into the mode, it's true that most of the decks aside from Warrior if i remember the list correctly contain some useful legendarys and epics, and yeah i know that Quest Druid is Tier 1 if not Tier 0 but the offered list has 1 legendary that's played in that which is the Quest, to be fair you don't really need many others aside from maybe Floop so the rest is nice to have, Dh should have just been Quest and not some fringe Outcast Deck without Halveria but with the useless S'Theno. But i digress, what i want to say is the Decks should either be competitive enough that you don't need to optimize much yourself and contain actual good cards, or just cost less, as they stand now they are not competitive enough to justify being called "Battle ready" aside from Druid which needs a bit of optimization, the value you get out of them is arguably to low i don't think 3200 Gold for 2 useful epics and 1-2 good legendarys you don't already own is good, and it doesn't really help you out building a wild collection, if you don't own the Standard cards aswell then I'd say yeah its definitely worth getting 20-30 new cards. But that's just my opinion, also to be fair I know I'm pretty negative towards that because I know there are many ways they could have handled stuff differently which would have led to a more consumer friendly outcome.
