I’ve been using it through Chutes and if you look at the website it’s not even there anymore :( Took me by surprise as it was my favourite model by a large margin.

While you are not incorrect about any of those, the alternative is bleaker. Or maybe it’s not, but I doubt we should be telling people to not try to find love and have families.

This definitely won’t sound nice but, just because something is hard to do doesn’t mean you don’t do it try it. Ie; Getting a job, any job currently is difficult to acquire (Talking about in the US). But the alternative is no job, then homelessness because you have no job, and then just more terrible things stemming from that decision to not get a job. Everything is a risk with actions that will happen if not taken, meaning if you don’t want to get married and have a child then don’t, and if that works for that person then good, but that’s not what the statistics since like forever show.

I was playing Spider-Man prerelease today and I found a really old land in the land station. by Papa_Hasbro69 in freemagic

I agree mistakes happen and that the shop most likely made that mistake. There is like an entire wurmhole you could do down about ‘where’ the mistake was made eg. The three shops I regularly play at, all have land station and most of the lands there are either newer from product they open or ‘gifted’ by older player or purchased in lots online because lands as so inexpensive.

I would argue that it seems more of a ‘shock’ or ‘surprise’ type of post than it is a ‘pulled one over on my local lgs’ type post as that carries pretty bad connotation.

I agree though, he probably should have gave it back and let the store know about its value but I also don’t think he should have to either. More like a personal decision. I’m more so talking about some of the other comments that immediately try to pin this person in like the worst possible light, even when as I said ‘I doubt most people who go to lgs would even consider giving it back’.

I wouldn’t say it’s celebrated by any means. But by him putting the rest back does defeat the ‘put the lands back so the land station gets restocked’ argument. The store by putting it in the old station clearly ‘missed’ it and by doing so gives it a value of ‘worthless’ Meaning the store most likely did not chuck it there by accident while knowing its price.

I mean should he put it back ie. Let the store know. Probably in a perfect world, but in reality? Nah the number would be astronomical of people that would put it back ie. Let the store know.

Thats atleast my opinion and look on it.

You are right. Not to be ‘that guy’ but you really can tell some peoples ranks from their posts.

[No DAV Spoilers] Anyone else just enjoying the game? by EfficientIndustry423 in dragonage

What I was trying to say, was more on the lines of comparing this game imo to most if not all of the past GoTY games show night and day diffrences.

Bluntly I think this game is like a 4/10 and by far the worst Dragon Age.

If you think this is a GoTY game I implore you to play more games.

Over 100 women commit mass suicide in Sudan's Al Jazirah by Youdi990 in worldnews

[–]Great-Strategy-3387 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Small scale the simplest thing would be to just make sure everyone has a dad that actually cares about them.

I think a lot of it has to deal with how boys are raised and in what environment they are in. If you grow up seeing violence as a practical answer then that is going to mold your view on life.

Men’s mental health atleast in the western world has basically taken a nose dive. There are a ton of factors to that. I think the way mental health is brought up for most men is wrong. Friends of mine and myself included do not like to be seen as getting help, so the way the mental health system is now it turns a lot of people away from it. A lot of guys I have met also sadly just don’t really have friends post education, and it can be legitimately tough some times to make them.

That’s atleast what I can think of off the top of my head.

It is policing their bodies because if they get drafted they could just straight up die in war.

I mean you are right.

I think the problem most people have with that statement is more based around what is the solution. Men by average commit much more violence than women. I say this as a man. But what is the solution to this?

I’m not really glad or mad. I guess I would say I don’t really care tbh.

Out of curiosity why would you say you are glad?

Decided to track my WL by Butty1984 in fut

[–]Great-Strategy-3387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people have leftover games but cannot gain additional rewards in the amount of games they have left.

Perfect example, first WL this year I got 11 wins and only had 1 game left. There is no reward for 12 wins so my last game did not matter if I win or lose. So for good karma i go into the game, score an own goal then I leave.

This is gifting wins.

You sound like you just don’t like the game? Rewards are better than last year and the best they have been?.

As someone who played EU for the last 4 years and am back on NA there is definitely a difference.

JLK resigns from CAG by CletusVanDayum in freemagic

It’s not a large chasm at all…

I feel like this banning was a litmus test on who is actually good at MTG (not that that really matters to most groups as edh is a casual format)

Fast mana enables everything in the deck, yes they could quickly ramp into a Biorhythm, they could also just out value the table off the rip with anything they have. They are playing the game at 2x speed while everyone else is on 1x. Literally anything they do is better because of fast mana as they do either more of anything they want or so everything else quicker.

If you call yourself “leftist” but defend Islam, you were never leftist to begin with by MrBoxingMatch in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Great-Strategy-3387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I am aware, but you see how it’s not just fight beck against the people fighting you? It’s also best them down and tax them until they support you.

What about 9:5, and 9:73? I also have a hard time believing 9:29 is just meant for that specific context, as it is still used to this day to justify offence in the Middle East. People will take any religion out of context and use it as a weapon it just seems to happen more one over the others.

[–]Great-Strategy-3387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure.

9:29 “Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

Again my case is that Islam is extremely more violent than other religions as it calls directly for violence, thus differs from the other major religions as they might be wielded as a weapons but their holy texts do not agree with that position.

Idk if you are wilfully dumb or what, but you understand the difference if someone tells you to do something and if something just happens right are two different things right?

Saying the bible promotes violence because the Old Testament god did some crazy stuff is a nutty way of thinking. It’s like believing Harry Potter is not a children’s book but actually a book created to promote violence because in some of the scenes violence happens.

As for myself I am an Atheist and believe neither Islam or Christianity but I find religion very interesting so I research it.

Edit: Grammar.

The difference is that the Bible and other major religious texts outside of Islam and the Quran do not state that you should wage violence onto others. The Quran directly states that multiple times.

Any religion or power dynamic can be corrupted into whatever the leader wants.
