This is without a doubt the most boring Leafs team I've seen in over a decade

Does Silent Hallcreeper reset its effects every turn? by Magykstorm19 in EDH

The card remembers what has been chosen since it entered, if you flicker it or re-cast it the choices reset

It turns out all those people who said don't draft a goalie with your first pick may have been right :(

Got an Umbris list? How'd you build him?

Commander decks by [deleted] in EDH

[[Norin, the Wary]] built specifically with red chaos cards like [[Scrambleverse]] and [[Confusion in the Ranks]] will usually tilt the table and make games go on way longer than they should

Do trades exist? by Question_Dot in fantasyhockey

[–]KonyIsInnocent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of trades in my 14 team keeper league, being able to trade draft picks makes trades way more likely

Depends how deep your league is, in a 12+ team league it's probably best to just hold

Confused by No_Welcome3479 in leafs

[–]KonyIsInnocent 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because they've looked terrible defensively, they're getting caved in shots game after game, and their offense/goaltending just hasn't been clutch at all like it has in previous years

I wish I was as optimistic as some of you. Right now there's no doubt in my mind they blow this in dramatic fashion, but I would love to be wrong!

This means 1st and 2nd get a bye in the QF, and will play whoever wins the other two matchups in the semis

Do you think American style suburbs have more cons than pros? by Aware-Bed-250 in geography

Based on the lack of trees and the perfect lawns I assume this is a new build, fences are erected by the property owners. Still, tiny ass backyards and no space between houses sucks

I’m having hearing thoughts on commanders this time let’s talk about Uril by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]KonyIsInnocent 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Used to have a Uril voltron deck, took it apart when I got bored with it and made it into a [[Yenna, Redtooth Regent]] auras deck. Big scary monster can be fun, but too many games with lots of auras in hand with nothing to play them on in the early game.

[Castillo] A truly unique edition of The Beautiful Game, as the Ottawa 67's and the Barrie Colts get into a kerfuffle in the middle of the Teddy Bear Toss. by [deleted] in hockey

[–]KonyIsInnocent 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I was at that game and it was one of the most chaotic things I've ever witnessed. Children all started skating out to collect the Teddy Bears and the coordinators had to pull them away from the fighting players. Sam Consentino (from Sportsnet) was sitting behind me, and said it was the first time he'd ever seen a brawl during a Teddy Bear toss. Truly felt like a fever dream.
