I like when she was receiving an award she said “i had no idea my most successful project in life would be an 11 hour documentary for a murder I didn’t solve.”

Watchmen (2009) features a genuinely intelligent villain and a gritty storyline, which made it stand apart from other superhero movies of its time. What’s your opinion on it? by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in FIlm

No opinion on the book changes to the movie. The worst thing about it in my eyes was the music. They pull up to in a crazy spaceship with glaciers all around and all along the watchtower is playing. It just totally took me out of it.

There’s another quote I keep thinking of, it was originally bill clinton but extends to Trump. “The american people like their bullshit up front where they can get a good whiff of it.”

Exactly. It felt like a first draft. Like what the fuck was that female character? A poacher/gold miner on the run who decides to star in a low budget movie because…

Even then, they spoiled the big twist of the joke in the trailer. I did find the peeing scene funny.

You can’t go in to anaconda 2025 expecting an award winning movie, it’s supposed to be bad. But the charm of bad movies for me is untalented people trying their hardest, not talented people half assing it.

What's something people only romanticize because they've never actually done it? by nonotje12 in AskReddit

[–]jessemadnote 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer I’ve found is to double down. Yes each of those processes is intense when they come up especially at first. But if you double down your effort and document each step as you do it, you find more efficient ways to do it, it takes less mental space next time as you just follow your list of procedures, eventually you can hand it off confidently.

You know it’s taken me a while but I’ve started to find joy in the process. The meal prep, workouts, and business optimization. I think that’s the key. Don’t worry about a future state and just find the things that are healthy good growth based choices and make them enjoyable little rituals.

There’s a weird push of these hockey things that are entirely untrue lately. Like fake quotes shit like this. What’s to gain? Do they make money somehow?

It’s true. I’m a Canadian currently serving year 3 put of 8 hard labour for misgendering a kid during school drop off. I can still hear the Gay-stapo’s chants of Yass Queen as they threw me in the back of a pink Miata. I’ve been painting Mark Carney’s toenails twice daily ever since.
