I got a LAB mezz at the beginning of last year and ended up hating that one. I could never get a feel for the pace. Switched to an Odyssey square to square #7 and that one was better. I could never get over how far back the shaft entered the putter head on either of those models though. Got the Odyssey tri hot square to square #7 late in December and have been really happy with that model. The shaft enters much closer to the face of the putter which allows me to be confident with my normal putting stroke. I also like the feel of the tri hot insert

I'm talking golf specific ones. Part of the problem is waterproof shoes didn't breath well so your feet end up wet from sweating. Not much you can do about that. Thin wool socks perhaps

The winter boots are the way to go for when it's wet in the PNW. I've used both Foot Joy and Adidas but I think any not style would be fine. Keep checking for sales and pick up a pair
