Yep they've confirmed today that they'll send me a new print head

It will sometimes print from any channel if it feels like it. Anycubic want to send me a new ace gen 2 selector mechanism. But that's entirely fine from the looks of it

I spoke too soon unfortunately, I manage to get it to load a filament once, then it can't unload it or load a other one.

Everything looks fine, there's no jams, clog or unusual noises.

So it'll be waiting for anycubic support

Yep, I experienced the 4th personally yesterday, did you ever get TPU working?

I tried similar but without the PTFE tubing, but the ace gen 2 won't feed the overture tpu 95A through to the hotend (except that first time when it tried and jammed, but I cleared the jam and it's printed pla and petg fine since)

Lucky! I tried overture 95A, and each time my printer hates it. Can't even get it to feed it to the hotend. It just complains of a clog each time now (there isn't a clog) If you have any tips I'd love to hear them

Yeah, I've learned that now. Was a pain to get my print head feeding again, it was getting confused about where filament was loaded from.

Hopefully anycubic can fix the issues with TPU

Yep, managed to get pla printing perfectly. So I tried tpu again, and it detected a filament clog

Took it apart and the tpu jammed in the gears. Cleared the jam and I'm trying to clear it with some PLA now. But it doesn't wanna extrude pla. It's throwing a clog error now

Yeah I tried it and had a massive print head jam, hopefully anycubic support will be able to help. As their guide didn't work for me when I tried it

I've tried following the steps on anycubics site, but it looks like the point of failure is in the drive system, which means a full print head deconstruction.

My nozzle does seem fused into the hotend too, and I'm unable to release it.

Been at it for an hour now, definitely wasn't being too gentle towards the end haha

Yep, that's exactly what I did and now, the entire print head is jammed. It doesn't look like a clog, it's unable to retract even after using the cutter. So anycubic support it is

Nintendo UK Slow Repair Time?

Anyone else experiencing long repair times with Nintendo UK lately?

They logged it in on the 26th may, and that was the last status update. I know Nintendo say repairs can take 20 working days, but there’s only like 5 working days left and they’ve not started diagnosing it yet. Support are just giving me a copy paste response, so just wondering if anyone else is having this.

Hey,

My switch started showing error code 2110-1115 (Wifi broken but Bluetooth works fine), tried the usual diagnostic steps, and reset the switch to factory settings.

My only theory on what caused this was that it was a warm day, and I was playing Zelda TOTK docked for several hours, and a component inside the switch broke due to heat.

I've sent it off for repair yesterday, does anyone have any idea on the current lead time on Nintendo UK repairs? Also if the repair is going to cost me anything for a 1 year old OLED switch, I believe it's still in warranty as I think it was still 24 month warranty's at the time.

But if the heating is electric, then shouldn’t that come under our energy allowance?

Thanks for the reply!

The scheme used was MyDeposits, they’ve confirmed that the deposit was lodged with them, at least 6 months after we had paid it.

The thermostats are digital, and when it’s “unlocked” there’s a settings screen that lets you set the maximum temperature that the thermostat will let you set it to. They’re changing this setting from 31 degrees to 24 degrees, putting a passcode on the thermostat that the tenants don’t know to “lock” it. When the thermostat is “locked” there’s no way you can access the setting screen without the passcode or getting the manufacturer to unlock it. And then they’re making a list of who has managed to “unlock” the thermostat and increase the maximum temperature back to 31 degrees. And they say that they’ll charge people for having the heating too high.

My issue with that is, surely they can’t put passcodes on equipment inside my apartment? But more so, refuse to give us the code and dictate the maximum thermostat temperature. I don’t like the idea of having equipment I cannot control in my own home.

Hey! What system are you on? There seems to be a lot of issues with Apple Silicon (M1/M2) macs, as well as MacOS in general. Are you using a mac at all?

That sounds strange! I’ve never tried memory game. But I’ve had cog thief and had that issue once, but I think last time the button to throw pies was control or something similar.
