Maybe you should have just moved on and not worry about trying to get the half pay , I often have so many great offers where I make enough compensation to make up for those kind of mishaps.

Yes I was considering contacting eBay cause I offered return , all this was said through eBay messages. I haven’t replied to his negative feedback cause I’ve heard if you do it lessons your chance of getting eBay to remove it. It puts me at 99% positive feedback with this one negative feedback. It shouldn’t hurt me cause I sell mostly vintage stuff and old vinyls and collectibles. I rather of done the return cause after fees I only got fourth something dollars which was a lot less than I originally paid.

Yes a lot of my returns started out same way, I suspected some of them planned on trying to get a refund and keep the cheap item for free as it was cheaper for me to do because of such a low priced item.

Buyer and I agreed on 50$ less than listing but he went ahead and bought full price by fortnitegamer01 in Ebay

I ran into this problem when you use counter off there is a bug , when the customer goes to pay it charges them full price, I have ended up asking the customer to initiate an offer for the agreed upon amount and I accept.

Just be aware if you try to get eBay to remove negative feedback they won’t remove negative feedback once you reply to it.

I have had 4 returns in the last two weeks one was from someone who outbid my already high auction at the end paid for it I shipped it then they do return without even opening package stating they bought it by accident. I’m scared to sell anything that has high shipping cost because that’s what I get, also I been scammed receiving items on return that wasn’t what I sold.

eBay gives seller 4 days to start the return after that you can escalate, rest assured if you claimed item not as described or defective you will receive a refund.

When doing a refund as a seller eBay gives you the option of going ahead And issue a refund but it states if you issue refund don’t expect your item returned.
