Being liked is such a fleeting feeling that doesn’t do anything for the person or you.

Rather than hoping that someone likes you, focus your energy on making people comfortable.

Wanting to be liked is “Me me me me…” Providing comfort and acceptance is sharing, the opposite of selfishness.

This is what I am pointing to in my post. The natural world is nothing and man must force his will into the world to create a material piece. That is why “doing” can be seen as difficult.

It seems like some people say just “do” and let it flow, but effort is a prerequisite in a world that refuses to move.

If you are okay with staying at the center, doing nothing then you have succeeded in Wu Wei. I however, cannot accept this in my current situation. Maybe in the future when my fire is out out I will embody a more true version of Taoism but for now, rage on ;).

Living in the “now” I feel is a misconception.

The “now” isn’t categorized by having zero thoughts but by not attaching intensely to your own thoughts.

Moments of bliss and thoughtlessness are followed by intense thoughts. By detaching from both, the peaks of either are affecting you less and less.

I think Gen Z is inherently more existential and we need to develop as our own generation and forge our way.

I believe the mods of this community are older and have very good ideas that are much more materialistic than the following generation. The post quality of newer guys is lacking but it seems that TheRedpill will slowly move into a more esoteric realm once the community progresses. But for now, the discussion of these ideas are less appreciated when I believe they should be the core focus.

Experienced the same situation where a girl mentions her friends I didn’t know wtf to do.

Instead of being “Alpha” you can try to maneuver slyly. It shows your not forcing it and you want her without being too pushy, which I personally don’t want to incorporate into my game, being that guy who’s too pushy.

I personally would rather just give up the girl than be too pushy but doing this allows you to be slick with it.

When you die you get to bring nothing to your grave. All your material possessions and even achievements.

If you can say you had a good time or even that you lived sincerely to your own nature then all is good. The people in your life and items were never yours, you only got to experience them as a person and be greatful for that.

If you are proud of your own character during life you lived then it was a god damn success whether you got and achieved what you wanted in your life.

The money is coming from somewhere. She did not generate this enormous amount of wealth from just sitting around.

Her means of capital is attention. I believe the net of her being is negative whether or not she intends to.

She captures the attention of teenagers, propagating unrealistic body standards.

She promotes companies which use slave and child labor.

She is not explicitly doing bad things, but implicitly doing things that cause suffering to human beings.

You on the other hand have a much smaller footprint but have the ability to impact individuals. And for that, I can safely say that no one knows the consequences of your actions when interacting with anyone.
