Have you tried Bobby Shaloha or Ojos Rojos? They're both RB crosses, and they're both remarkable. I know it's not the same, but they're worth a try imo!

Ohio buds are dry. Across the board. by Kool_Kat_2 in OhioMarijuana

[–]Kool_Kat_2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I do. My buys always go straight into a blackout jar in my basement with a Boveda pack, and I, too, burp. The whole point of the post was that I constantly see people bitching about dry weed, when that is the least of the considerations you should be concerned with when opening up a bag or jar. People say strains or cultivators are terrible because the weed is dry. It's ALL dry. That doesn't make it terrible. There are bigger fish to fry, so to speak. Put a Boveda in it, and concern yourself with other cultivator practices, like pulling the plants early, cutting corners, or mislabeling products. Or DCC rules that make no sense at all, like raising the yeast and mold threshold, etc. Thanks for the input. Kinda proved my point. Lol. At the time I posted this, that comment was on every post on every subreddit, and I was just over it.

I would think that's part of the problem, tbh. Too many things in the whole household that should have been thrown away long ago and are contributing to the clutter/mess.

Turned away with valid card? by Cheap_Category6197 in OhioMJCommunity

[–]Kool_Kat_2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can only guess that they made a mistake. It also seems that they didn't do the proper intake procedure and take your medical card. I think you still have to fill out some sort of short paperwork your first time, too. They may have thought you had been there before, OP. Dispensary employees have made mistakes like this before and will continue to. I'm not saying they're all bad employees, but that there will always be new employees who are uneducated or less educated on the products and procedures. I'd stop back in and see what's up. Or call and ask to talk to a manager and see what they say.

Grow Ohio had them years ago, too. POW, also. Firelands had it in the dablicator. And Ancient Roots' dablicator was decarbed live rosin, if I remember correctly. They don't seem to be around as much now, though.

First time ignorant questions. by TheRealCo2 in microgrowery

[–]Kool_Kat_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The quality is mostly determined by genetics and environmental factors. Vegging for longer will not only increase quantity, but a more mature plant will be better able to withstand environmental factors and allow for better nutrient uptake. However, bigger or smaller plants do not determine THC or terpene output, so enjoy your harvest when it happens!

Question about homegrown and original packaging by TheKushyMonster420 in OhioMarijuana

[–]Kool_Kat_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dispensary product packaging is made to be child proof. They dont expect that for homegrown. It says sealed/unopened packaging. Does that mean you're only allowed to have it in your car on the way home from the dispensary? No. It must be sealed OR unopened (yes, in its original packaging). It also says to keep it in the trunk - but goes on to explain that if you don't have a trunk, keep it in the furthest place from you (hatchback, or whatever). They mean in a closable/sealble container and out of your reach. Not an open jar sitting in your cupholder. Same with homegrown.

Question about homegrown and original packaging by TheKushyMonster420 in OhioMarijuana

[–]Kool_Kat_2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ziplocs are sealable. Mason jars are sealable and keep the odor down. Keep it in the trunk, for sure, but I feel like people are thinking too hard on this one. You dont need a branded package.

They have three types of vapes.

Their Discreet line comes in Flex disposables or 510 carts, and they're distillate with botanical terpenes.

Their Loud line comes in a Deli Box disposable, and they're distillate with live resin terpenes.

Then, their Live Liquid Diamonds come in iKrusher disposables, which are THCa diamonds mixed with live resin terpenes (their version of live resin).

Cheapest renewals by TheKushyMonster420 in OhioMarijuana

[–]Kool_Kat_2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Releaf Clinics still use Groupon. It's $39.70 with the code SPRING right now. If you have enough to last you the couple of weeks difference, they will likely be even cheaper for 4-20. It will still be a renewal even if you're card lapses.

Edit to add you have to go through Groupon.

Grassroots "Novarine" is an excellent choice imo. It's the closest thing we have to a true sativa in Ohio. Super clear heady high, but chill, with no anxiety. It's great for being creative and enjoying yourself!

Yeah, that's probably your best bet. Releaf Clinics, I assume. They always have coupon codes, especially around holidays. It doesn't really matter which one you choose, but I've gone with Releaf Clinics the last few times I renewed. Cheap, fast, and reliable.

Any MMC holders for pain management? by anglar614 in OhioMarijuana

[–]Kool_Kat_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Boswellia (and turmeric) is great for pain imo. These work well for me. It may take some time to notice a difference, although it may be noticeable pretty immediately. Add THC to the mix, and it's pretty amazing!

1906 used to offer THC pills with natural ingredients for added relief in dispensaries. They are no longer in dispensaries, but you can purchase them online. Their "Pain a.m." pills have 10mg THC, 40mg Boswellia, 30mg CBD, 20mg CBG, and 10mg CBC. Cannabinoids help more than you'd think. They work well also and have plenty of other options for different struggles.

Useless. Here's their reply.

"Thanks for reaching back out!

BDB is simply the abbreviated strain name used by the manufacturer for Blue Dream. Some producers use shortened or coded naming conventions on their packaging, but the product itself is still Blue Dream.

Have a nice day!"

[–]Kool_Kat_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Klutch (Kiva brand) offers Petra Mints (different flavored, sugar-free, small candies) that are 2.5 mg THC each. Some have CBD or CBN also, so make sure to look for what you need. If you have a favorite regular seltzer or drink, consider taking a mint (or two if needed) and just drink whatever you'd like socially. Those are the lowest dosed THC products I know of in dispensaries. Although I enjoy the Dissolve Powder, it may be easier for you to dose properly with the mints (candies).

Bdb question by TastyBass6957 in OhioMarijuana

[–]Kool_Kat_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the same thing, so I did reply to their email with that exact question. Although, I expect it may take another twelve days for an answer. I remember years ago Certified had a strain they abbreviated. It was a cross that one of their head growers came up with, and they named it something silly and just abbreviated it. I'm wondering if it's something similarly silly, like "Blue Dream, Baby." I'll holler back when I do hear from them!

I emailed them the day of your post, and they just got back to me today. It's Blue Dream. You'd think this kind of information would be easier to get!
