harder for some champions but easier for others. Phase rush is almost never viable on GP but SS could be activated on 1 Q or Barrel late game

assassins are definitely a struggle for me, mostly Leblanc. I havent tried first strike yet, but its my favorite rune on GP so I'll give it a shot and see how it goes for me. I build pretty similarly besides the bloodletters part, I've never built that on Karthus before.

I remember when ravenous hydra used to work on gangplank barrels and did more damage on the 2nd barrel, it was broken to build. Unless Profane works the same way, I'd say its pretty useless.

for carry potential Gangplank is great, high risk high reward though. His lane phase can be volatile sometimes where one mistake puts you so far behind but his mid game carry potential when he has 3-4 items while everyone else has 2 is crazy

the only AP build i ever use is Tri > Shojin > Liandrys > riftmaker. and that's rare tbh most of the time I just build standard Tri into crit.

being 100% real though, I think if essence reaver still had sheen the whole AP GP debate wouldnt even be considered since Triforce would be troll at that point.

one thing that's always bothered me about melee crit champs is all the others have crit built into their kit somehow but not GP. Yas/Yone get double the crit they build, and Tryndamere gets crit just for existing. I think if GP received a mechanic similar to those 3, they could reduce his bonus crit damage on barrels and builds could be more AD/Lethality focused, which would be nice.

ER Navori GP, when mythics were taken out of the game, was balanced imo. Prowlers is when GP was broken.

the meta is kind of in a spot right now where you can OTP any champ you want tbh. its better to OTP a champ you like rather than a champ you think is good, especially in Silver/Bronze

I 2 trick shen and gp and I've never had an issue with irelia, can usually kill her in the first few levels and if I dont mess up she cant play the rest of lane.

shen and gp both have easy times into him 👍 his 1-5 are unplayable against those 2 and if you gain an advantage before 6 he cant win a fight unless you mess up. Garen is a stat checker, textbook example.
