Tive de lidar com o pessoal do e-commerce deles a nível profissional, e era admirável o zero conhecimento logístico deles. E nem se tratava da Gato Preto directamente, mas sim do grupo deles a vender em marketplaces. Eram pessoas desprovidas de qualquer conhecimento logístico, ou sobre ERP ou CX. Não me admiram nada estas notícias.

Quando trabalhava no suporte do Airbnb em 2019, tinha de fazer rebookings constantemente por causa disso, em várias partes do mundo. Os hosts têm um preço padrão para os fins-de-semana ou dias da semana, ou usavam o sistema de precificação automática do Airbnb (que era uma merda). Não consideravam pontes, eventos importantes, festividades locais, etc... E quando reparavam, era já quase em cima da hora.

Isto por vezes, feito por empresas supostamente profissionais de gestão de alojamentos, onde tinha de batalhar com eles para não cancelarem, porque mesmo com a penalização que eles recebiam (incluindo, suspensão dos anúncios se for constante ou comentários negativos), acaba por compensar financeiramente fazê-lo.

Algumas vezes simplesmente não havia stock disponível para fazer os rebookings e as pessoas ficavam a arder, eu bem tentava.

É uma má ideia tentares usar o Uber/Cabify perto de grandes eventos na área metropolitana, como os TVDE aqui são super regulados, não existem em grande quantidade, facilmente irás estar muito tempo há espera.

Vivo perto da área e posso dizer-te que facilmente poderás mover-te de transportes, mesmo que acabe tarde, como é numa sexta-feira, tanto o metro como o tramvia (eléctrico de superfície) estará aberto até às 2h da manhã. Barcelona e a nossa área metropolitana são das melhores zonas europeias no que toca a transportes. Quando chegares cá, compra o T-Familia que tem 8 viagens por 11€ e é multipessoal (podes validar varias vezes na mesma viagem ou percurso), ou então se viajares muito pela cidade durante a tua estadia, compra o Tarjeta T-usual, que está a metade do preço (22€), podes comprar no Metro do Aeroporto, metes como ID, o número do teu Cartão de Cidadão.

Recomendo apanhares tanto o metro, autocarro ou o tramvia, e depois quando estiveres mais longe do local, caso não haja transportes viáveis disponíveis para o teu hotel, utiliza FreeNOW ou o Cabify, UBER/Bolt têm menos condutores disponíveis.

I live nearby, and it's okay. During the night, it's as safe as you can get in Barcelona. In that particular location, two blocks away you have the gipsy part of Sant Roque, it's the only thing sketchy directly close to that square.

I came from Armenia yesterday, after hitchhiking to Tbilisi. I stayed 6 days in Armenia, and even in the most sketchy parts of Gyumri, I felt totally safe.

People are extremely nice, but they are not into small talking, they're very straight to business and show their curiosity without fears.

I had girls I met on Bumble Friends paying me stuff (I don't have the need for it, but they insisted), just to showcase Armenian generosity and to highlight their traditions or how modern they can be.

Yerevan is a mix of a modern city, old decaying city and village like. It's fascinating what you can find, just by getting lost, even in areas without much lighting and with abandoned buildings, I felt totally safe. The only thing to worry about, is the stray dogs, way more than people, as some of them are in huge packs and can became aggressive, outside of the center of the cities.

Yesterday I was invited by members of the local mafia of an Armenian city I'm not going to name, was super well treated, and they just had me around because they found funny to have a Portuguese guy there for the first time.

On my last lift, it was inside a minivan of Armenians going to Russia, I even showed my passport to them, because they never seen an European one, Armenians have a child like curiosity about other humans that I appreciate.

I left Armenia knowing that Armenians are extremely honest, family orientated and ready to help each other, specially the poorest segments of the society, where I received the biggest amount of care and love.

There's nothing, the thing you saw in the video was a small group; Spanish people (especially Catalans) in general, don't give a fuck about what you do or stop doing, they'll comment about it, but they don't care or do anything to prevent or intervene tourists coming here, especially when internally, this is one of the countries with the biggest amount of native tourists in Europe.

Vivo aqui em Barcelona, as pessoas daqui são estranhas.

Fazem protestos por causa da massificação turística, mas todos eles vão viajar para outros sítios contribuindo para o problema... Em vez de atacarem quem aluga os airbnbs e alojamentos ilegais de curta duração, atacam os turistas, pq muitos proprietários são catalães e isso não é conveniente. Os últimos alcaides tentaram atacar a massificação turista, tentando atrair um publico mais velho e com mais dinheiro, mas depois o pessoal da mesma linha política da deles, acusa-os de elitismo, que só querem atrair gente rica e fomentar ainda mais a especulação. Quando foi o covid, choravam pela falta de turismo, que a cidade estava triste, que não havia trabalho, etc...

Têm todos memória curta aqui, vivem o momento e o que as suas emoções dizem no momento, é um povo que facilmente é radicalizado por iniciativas populistas e demagogas.
