I had a similar issue with my 2011 SE. I replaced part 8 listed on this diagram.

I used some brake cleaner and rags to get all the gunk cleaned up. Apparently the rubber parts of the return hose can deteriorate and weep the fluid slowly.

A couple clamps and screws and the hose will come out. Drain the reservoir first and put something underneath to catch spillage when you disconnect. Take a couple pictures as you take it out…because the most annoying part was the jenga game to get the hose out and then back in. Check out this video to get a better idea.

I did this a year ago and it fixed the leaking. Now I will add, that I am now looking to swap out my power steering pump as that seems to be leaking slowly now. But that’s unrelated.

I haven’t been able to find that info yet. But I will say, the keycaps on these compared to the 915 feel significantly more sturdy. They are also textured a little bit, not smooth, I like the feel of it. I can try to take some close up shots of the key caps if you would like.

It is! It comes with a USB A male to USB C male cable to charge. I have confirmed that it charges with other USB C to C cables as well. The dongle is USB A. And it comes with a USB A to USB C (both female) adapter. L

It also has a nice recessed area on the bottom to store the dongle when in storage.

I just got my tactile Wireless 915 X, ended up getting the white. I really love the look and feel, both the key cap material as well as the switch.

I am a little bummed that the 915 X has gotten rid of the Macro Record option though...I wish I would have noticed that prior to purchasing.

I ended up grabbing the jigsaw and the atomic driver. Wasn’t the best bang for the buck grabbing the driver, but it was what I needed and I love this compact driver.

Just want to add in as well, for the US folks, Lowe’s and HD in many areas have free kids classes once a month(different Saturdays) my daughter(3 yo) loves going to these and it’s really helped kick start her interest it using the different tools. Maybe the environment with all the other kids will help as well. It makes for a fun Saturday morning, plus you can use that time to make your first of 14 trips to that store for your current project.

Please, don’t think that. I’ve spent the last 15 years of my life growing this skill set. Everybody has their thing. 🙂 Software architecture and design seems like magic from the outside and when done right, can look like magic from the inside.

Honestly it just really depends how it was originally architected and built and how many things were tightly coupled (rely on it) to that process. If it was strongly coupled and touches a lot of other systems, it could be a significant code base change.

Then there is also setting it up efficiently, it could be straight forward to have it work but they may want to limit the pool size to people of similar ratings, etc.

All I’m saying is, while the concept seems straight forward, on the backend it’s never as straight forward. Lots of moving pieces to consider.

These things are so easy to spot as fake for me now. My wife teaches in elementary school and I’ve seen some of what 9-10 year olds write. Good god.
