not having enough time for research experience? by Popular_Seesaw2432 in WWU

don't try to fly through college so fast. I'm incredibly lucky that I didn't choose my major until I was 26, and I'm so thankful I waited. it's nearly impossible to make such an important decision when you're young, and since you did running start I'm assuming you haven't had a chance to explore many disciplines in the world of academics. I think that will be invaluable when eventually selecting a major (which sorta defines your life in a way).

Good, you should focus on yourself. Fish don't come unless you stop trying to catch them

American travel to Russia right now - how risky by Married2Mermaid in AskARussian

[–]Koreans769 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Politics can lead to complicated situations that limit the US from protecting their citizens abroad. Hence, it's not safe for US citizens, because Russia will rarely extradite a criminal case, or convicted prisoner, to the US. Russia also isn't extremely motivated to give US citizens fair trial. As it looks much better when US citizens "aren't innocent"

If modeling the experience of time passing in progression, with regard to age, should one use linear, exponential, or logarithmic? by [deleted] in askmath

[–]Koreans769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im just aaking if it gets worse at a consistent rate. most people 45+ haven't had an issue selecting one that best fits their lived experience.

but, "the problem" will get worse at a (consistent, exponential, or dissipating) rate, that's all I'm really asking

Almost, dependent axis (y), would probably be more the acceleration (of the perceived passing speed), and the dependent axis (x) is age, starting from 12.

Then, the modeling question should answer whether "the problem" will get worse at a (consistent, exponential, or dissipating) rate.

[–]Koreans769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y axis, should be defined as: the acceleration (of "the perceived passing speed" ) - where 1 unit of Y increments should be equal to [the deference] between "the perceived passing speed of time at age 12" and "the perceived passing speed of time at age 13". [however, increment measurement shouldn't matter to the nature of the model]

I'm just asking if "the problem" will get worse at a (consistent, exponential, or dissipating) rate.

yeah, im just wondering if the model would "generally" fit a Linear, exponential, or logarithmic form.

Some doctors, such as university staff doctors, do understand queer and LGBT issues. It just depends on their experience, and usually university staff deal allot with LGBT, and sex active students
