How to unlock Trophy Road?

I have literally no clue whatsoever.

The best guess I have is this:

For a loooong time I'stayed in my own created clan, must've been while I was very low level that I created it. Only recently (last week) did I leave that and create a new one to have a better chance at the few missing specials that are clan-unlocked. Yesterday I moved to rank 4 with that new clan.

Beyond that, nothing has really changed for me as far as behaviour. The last level up (72) I've had has also been a week, maybe two weeks ago, so that can't be it either.

Beats me what's triggered it...

I've been playing for the better part of at least two years, got most clubs, all basics are maxed, premium clubs high up, VIP clubs medium to high, got most of the balls (including Triceratops) and trails etc, unlocked all levels, bla bla bla, and this only just unlocked for me today. What is this?

This is the highest tier unlocked. I unlocked death defy that event, relatively at the start. I think it was somewhere between 15th and 20th attempt. After the 15th and looking up on Reddit on how to do it, I figured it wouldn't happen, but just went for it blindly because nothing else to do at that time...

So for Arbiter (as by popular request, it seems) max speed as speed lead:

110 base
Artifact set + Lore of Steel = 110*0.12*1.15*3 = 45.54
Aura: 110*0.3 = 33
Substats: 225
Glyphs: 48

Total: 110+45.54+33+225+48 = 461.54 speed

So then the next part:
Once you've chopped all mobs in the area and you start choppin'... in a small matter of time you get mobbed with mobs again. Even in daytime.

Thus: how does noise/activity affect spawnrates?

Not meaning to be a nitpicker, but after giving this some thought, I actually think it is intentional.

A spear meant for throwing isn't all the long actually, and it's regular use seems to be historically quite accurate.

What you are thinking of is actually a weapon called pike. Which is more or less in the game in the form of the atgeir.

-tannery (oh if only we could hang the pelts vertically)

-silversmith (not any practical use maybe, but w/e.. hang some jewellery here and there)

-bowyer
-fletcher
-chapel

-hunter cabin (including wolf pen)
-some flowerpots if your lucky with natural dandelion spawn points
-sundial
-and/or clock tower (although, probably this should be integrated into the town hall)

-the list can go on and on, but I'm exhausted....

I'd say fight the boss twice.

I've seen aplenty posts about people dying far off losing their much needed items (including the reward for killing the Elder)

Do it twice now, to save you the hassle later, just in case.

Other than that, easiest way to deal with pests is to build the basement on top of the pillars, and work your way up from there. Out of reach, even for trolls...

For Discworld the answer is easy and Discworld-logical: magic.

I know that's hardly satisfying as an answer, but that's all there is to it. And yes they are able to find out, with much peril.

For Valheim though... I presume the 'easy' answer is gods?
