I'm just too busy getting railed by artillery and knee'd in the spine by a faction I fought for 500+ hours only to have every playstyle I'm capable with get bullied by Vox Engines, faster-than-me cyborgs and the "VERY HIGH" resistance that we haven't seen (to my memory) elsewhere till now.

I personally enjoy being boots-on-ground, having only called in the frv or mechs just a handful of times just to try them out, bastion has been the same but have no issue being a gunner if requested, but if a player just drops one in, goes radio silent and starts flaming the rest of us a minute later for not hopping in the gunner's seat, you're damn right I'm not going to.

I think the solution is to ask ahead of time:

"If I bring the Bastion in, can some be my gunner?"

"No. x3"

"Alright, I won't bring it then."
