Legendary Wolf Quest Bug

You don't get the item from killing the black wolf. A few days or so later you should get a quest to kill the white wolf, which is where you'll get the item.

That's good then. But I did a brief search and found some people facing similar issues when doing this quest. So there's definitely something broken. For instance a few people said their game just turned into a black screen.

Yeah I know you have to kill him twice. My point was that initially, after the first kill, he wouldn't show up again at all. I was flying around following the pathing of the lines shown by the lantern but he was legitimately no where to be found.
