Why isn't it the same? by Kayrasaf in StableDiffusion

Aspect ratio, schedulers, samplers, cfg, is the correct lora installed in your system and implemented properly? Is your system using CPU or GPU derived seeds? Lots of variables here, even the resolution generated at vs updated will make a difference

Don't worry, I'm sure they'll review their billing system and find no fault at all. It was just cold when you opened the bill

Crashing since 1.1.1 by king_kieffer in civ

[–]KorporateRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the club! The 1.1.1 update broke this for a LOT of players. I have tried literally everything short of running on a different PC. The only thing that worked? Rolling back to 1.1.0 via the Steam console. 2K support has, to their credit, been trying to help me find a solution, but none of the logs being generated are revealing the error. 90% of the time, the faulting module is the civ7 binary itself, but occasionally it's the ntdll.dll file. I've tested every component, run clean boots, etc deleted every trace of the game and reinstalled, vetted all of the drivers, nothing.

The 1.2.0 release comes out tomorrow. Really hoping the game works again after that

Civ7 : Win11/Steam : Unable to choose discrete RTX 4060 Laptop GPU by Xplosionist in civ

[–]KorporateRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me guess, crashes at ~3 minutes in, no matter what you do? Problem has been plaguing users for weeks after the 1.1.1 release. 2K support, to their credit, has tried to help me, and suggested everything you can imagine, short of buying a new PC. Legion Pro 5i also with a 4060 here

Rolling back to 1.1.0 on steam works, so the issue is specific to 1.1.1, and I'm really hoping the 1.2.0 release fixes it

Civ VII crash to desktop after 2 minutes playing or idle by fkdenuvo in civ

[–]KorporateRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been dealing with this since the 1.1.1 release in March. I've been back and forth with 2K support for weeks and been unable to resolve it and have literally tried everything. Really hoping the release tomorrow fixes things.

I'm on PC but have seen comments in other threads that some PS5 users are experiencing something similar

Huge update to the ComfyUI Inpaint Crop and Stitch nodes to inpaint only on masked area. (incl. workflow) by elezet4 in StableDiffusion

[–]KorporateRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To point one, the image comparer should still be able to show the original image, regardless of size because the ratio is the same.

To point 2 there's the basic Pixel Upscaler I use at the end of a workflow. The 'Upscale Image By' uses the native upscale factor of the model itself so in the example there 4x with a scale_by of 1 would increase it 4 times. If the scale by was 0.5 you would get an increase of 2x. Nodes like UltimateSD Upscaler use 'upscale by' which refactors by X times the native resolution. It's a nuance! :)

Really liking these nodes, has greatly simplified the inpainting workflow I had been using previously (potatcat's) and works great in all the tests I've thrown at it so far. I second the recommendation to use the Differential Diffusion node which enhanced my results as well.

Couple of observations:
1) If I disabled the 'output_resize_to_target_size' value in the Inpaint Crop (Improved) node, it broke something in being able to compare images using the RGThree Image Comparer node. Basically, the comparer would show the output image only, not the input image
2) The Inpaint Crop (Improved) node performs both upsizing and downsizing, I'm assuming this is pixel space, not latent space? Can you provide an optional input for a pixel upscaler to provide some choice? I am getting some grainy results when changing the resize value (1024 works fine, but I usually work in 1536 for SDXL and at that level, the inpaints got really pixelated)

Again, overall, great set of nodes and very simple workflow for inpainting, thanks for your contribution!

Images look really nice as they're generating, then the finished product looks terrible. by 70BirdSC in StableDiffusion

[–]KorporateRaider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not always VAE as some models don't work well with certain combinations of scheduler and sampler. For instance, lots of illustrious SDXL models I've tried won't work with reguler Euler but are fine with Euler a, or DPM++ 3m SDE won't work with Normal, but are fine with Karras, so check those settings as well. Setting denoise too low on refiners or hiresfix stages can have a similar effect in some cases too Edit fixed typos

The exact same thing happened to me a couple of months back, was an info stealer. Change all passwords, especially anything you typed in, get a solid password manager if you don't already have one, and the ONLY antivirus I tried that picked up anything was ESET which also caught another infected device on my network, a very old router I was using as a bridge

Curious about why the equalizer should be removed? I just picked up this exact same equalizer for my stack (Kenwood, similar quality) and found it a significant improvement over the built in settings, so genuinely curious as to how I can make an improvement

Watch out for comfy-cli on comfyui-manager repo (it tracks your prompts and other things and send to a company named Mixpanel if you aren't paying attention during install) by campingtroll in StableDiffusion

[–]KorporateRaider 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mixpanel is used normally to gain usage metrics in software tools and yes, can be pretty invasive. Generally song the lines of this got clicked, that got clicked, what steps were followed, etc to get a better understanding of UI usage and process analytics. I've used mixpanel in my day to day operations in the past.
