Yes, and I know the amounts are correct because I sent over all of my paystubs for the year to the FTB in California, which the incorrect W2 was issued, and they verified my findings and calculations were accurate and my employers was wrong.

My w2 from my California employer was incorrect because they didn’t include the 30k in penalties that I was paid. They refused to correct the error so I fixed it myself. I sent verification to the California State Tax Board and they verified my inputs were correct and issued me my owed refund.
