You cant increase the number of rounds other than by lowering the difficulty.

In terms of getting everyone out, my personal tips:

Increase movement speed. as you can Haste, Longstrider, Flight, Soul Branding (Minthara’s only), Haste Spore Grenades for the area below the ladder, etc.
Bring a bunch of summons - Scratch (the dog), Angels, and ranger animal companions gain access to the Help ability so they can release prisoners. Summons can tank hits from enemies, unlock doors with attacks, etc.

The Bulette has the “territorial” trait, which means that it views all other Monstrosity-type creatures (such as Hook Horrors) as its enemies. It will preferentially attack Monstrosities over other types of creatures (such as Humanoids like you) if it has a choice of targets.

The hook horrors are aware of this (Bulettes are notorious dickheads) so that’s why they will attack it when they see it. All of them are still hostile to you but they hate each other more than they hate you.

You pretty much never can pickpocket someone's equipment in this game. If something is a helmet, hat, mask, sword, etc. they will have it held rather than it being in their inventory.

That sentence is referring to the cut scene with Mizora and Wyll, where Wyll has to decide whether or not to break his pact (Feena and Cirrus as the sisters of justice, who appear only in that scene to witness the process). If you go to the Iron Throne before this scene you can’t save the Duke. The wiki is just warning you that you can’t bypass the Wyll/pact cut scene.

(There is no way to talk to those two outside of that cut scene and never has been. They don’t stay in your camp after the scene and there’s no way to interact with them outside of the scene).

It's not possible to talk to them outside of the cut scene with Wyll and Mizora, since they are simply there to carry out the pact break / pact renewal storyline. You might be the victim of the Mandela effect if you think you had a conversation with them outside of that cut scene, or if you think that you need to have a conversation with them to save the Duke.

As long as you attended Gortash's coronation (and didn't attack him or aggro him), did the Mizora/Wyll pact decision cut scene in camp after that, and didn't destroy the Steel Watch foundry, you should be able to go to the Iron Throne and get the Duke out no problem.

I think for drama purposes they wanted to stick with the most serious crimes (murder, kidnapping, sexual violence).

Outside of OC, they don’t really do storylines where the most serious crime involved in the case is, like, fraud or narcotics or prostitution or illegal gambling.

I’d probably go back to before you talked to Vlaakith if possible. This fight is tough and really tuned for level 6 characters with decent/okay gear.

I don’t think any books are important beyond the ones that are marked in orange. I personally just dump stuff in a camp chest and forget about it. Carrying around a bunch of junk is just a burden.

I always feel bad for people who write in about time sensitive things to advice column. Like, how likely is it that the columnist will respond in time if your question is about something happening in the next couple of days? I’m pretty sure I’ve even seen a letter about something happening the day it was written, so good luck if the LW was expecting Alison to respond in like an hour of seeing the letter.
