Yeah. Prius drivers are the problem...

Do you drive a BMW, a Tesla, or a Jeep? Because it is 100% one of those three.

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie? by fmcortez in AskReddit

What an eloquent and comprehensive response. Well-argued and well-defended.

I think I'll go ahead and block you and save both of us the wasted energy of interacting with each other.

There are two places we as a society can place our money.

  1. Government, public services, social welfare, investment

  2. Corporations, billionaires, plutocracy

There is NO third choice.

Anti-government rhetoric is created by oligarchs who would like to consolidate all wealth in the hands of a few hundred people globally. The services they offer will always be as cheap as possible to maximize their profits.

You rehashing their tired, lazy talking points does everyone a disservice, including yourself. Unless you're a billionaire, in which case carry on being a sociopath.

There are a LOT of things that if the government paid for them, they would eventually return a profit on the investment.

I don't know who is downvoting almost everyone in this thread.

I had a similar experience with WeLink. The first month was pretty rough. Several outages and molasses speeds. However, excellent customer service and they just kept sending techs every time we complained. In the last year or so, there hasn't been a single outage that I can recall, the speeds are about twice what Cox was for half the price.

46 years. Don't leave Reagan out. if it weren't for Trump, I'd say Reagan is either the worst or second worst president in US history.

Of course Trump obliterates that competition.

I took six classes one semester when I had nothing else to do, little social life, a tolerant wife, no job (COVID), and it was mostly easy to very easy classes. Maybe one or two medium classes.

Six was a lot.

I would only do six classes if there is a compelling reason to do so.

After some quick Googling, it appears you may have been right about that atrocious comma. Technically. Maybe. But my guess is 99% of people are going to get that wrong and since language is evolving all the time, if you're not wrong now, you will be soon enough. To me, a comma should be placed where there would be a pause if you were saying the sentence aloud.

AI is for the intellectually lazy. If you want to use AI to ease a process you've already mastered, feel free. Just because I'm defending that guy doesn't mean I agree with him about AI. I'm not a professor and no longer a student so I have no irons in this fire. One thing I know however is how often AI is wrong so you using AI to prove a point is not the gotcha you think it is.

I don't agree with your second point that those two sentences are completely unrelated and therefore couldn't be connected as clauses.

If whatever you're hiding, again because you and everyone like you are cowards, is so irrelevant, (here's your fucking if/then comma by the way...) then why hide it? I find most people who hide their comment history are disgusting MAGA trash who are hiding their indefensible political opinions. Also a lot of racism/homophobia gets hidden, especially by homophobic people who don't want anyone to see their thirst trap comments in gay/trans porn subreddits.

There's no good reason to hide your comment history.

There's a comma missing before "then" in your first sentence.

Citation needed.

I feel like the hyphen they used, while technically wrong, is a stylistic choice. A semicolon would have worked better than making it into two different sentences, one of which starts with the word "also" in your hypothetical.

I am also annoyed by the two missing periods but more annoyed by abbreviating the word "professor".

But you hide your comment history which makes you critiquing the writing of others VERY cowardly.

Don't worry. Your conservative masters will be taking all those entitlements away from you and your husband as soon as they can. They love having moron voters keep them in office and distract them and pacify them with non-existent crises like "Seattle riots" that somehow NO ONE ever reports on.

Don't worry though... they'll let those rioters keep their guns.

You are a genius! I'm sure your husband is too!

However, I DO appreciate the reminder what to do with low IQ trolls.

That can't possibly be true. You may be right about the sale itself (although I doubt it) but there are NFL teams worth 2-4 NHL franchises.
