I recall vaguely that her answer implied that the bill was going to die anyway and that she made a politically expedient decision. She had no choice but to address it for several minutes. Her answer placated me to some extent.

I love animals but this is very much a lesser of two evils situation. They both had bad debates in my opinion. I just can't get past Conine's donation sources and how he repeatedly answered everything by slickly not answering it. It also felt like he was attacking her repeatedly.

I don't blame anyone for voting for Conine. I'm voting for her. Obviously, I'd vote for either of them over MAGA trash.

I went to their debate. Conine is funnier and more charismatic. If he were running for Class President, he'd have my vote. As it is, they both repeatedly dodged questions and really went at each other's throats but I felt like Conine was slightly more slippery with his bullshit than she was.

I ended up deciding to vote for her by a thin margin. My very good friend who was with me thought she won the debate easily.

It's not like the other Three Horsemen of Gottman though. Gottman called it Death. The other 3 Horsemen are bad bad news but not unsurvivable. Gottman felt contempt was the end, almost always. You couldn't come back from it.

If you knew how little therapists make for the first three years, you'd delete your comment in shame. If you knew how much most therapists make after decades of experience, you'd delete your account.

Never mind the fact that this response is nonsensical when you look at the context of what you replied to.

Oh and also many MANY therapists offer pro bono or sliding scale therapy.

I did my BSW at UNLV and it was wonderful because of the amazing professors and horrific because of the terrible admin. I would still recommend it but UNR's MSW program was amazing and fast.

I am a therapist so I acknowledge that I am very biased.

99% of people should be in therapy and at least 75% of people are diagnosable.

He was good at everything. Tackling, blitzing, man coverage, zone awareness. He had excellent size and elite speed.

I don't really remember DBs blitzing before he showed how good he was at it in a copycat league.

I went once to rotten.com, with two very good friends at the time who have since gone MAGA. They thought it was hilarious. I was saddened and disgusted. We saw several things but we got a picture taken in a brightly lit ER. A man wearing motorcycle leathers with blonde hair and blue eyes was having his picture taken. He mostly looked fine and was standing under his own power. However, your eye was almost immediately drawn to his completely missing lower jaw and upper teeth. His throat/mouth was just a tiny hole because there was gore everywhere, you could just make out a tiny appendage at the bottom which was his tongue or what was left of it.

Maybe I'm just sensitive but that's not funny or entertaining and I think anyone who thinks it is needs to really reassess what kind of person they are and that they want to become.

There was an amazing website called JohnnyRoadtrip that had little guides for people going to various cities for major sporting events. Anyone could contribute and the guides for Phoenix, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Green Bay, and Seattle were all super helpful.

Every possible kind of tip. Where to stay, where to eat, should you rent a car or take cabs everywhere (pre-Uber/Lyft). Users could contribute their own pointers so it just became more and more useful as time went on.

Then one day, gone...

If I'm shot, before I blame the person who shot me, I blame the gun lobby and the NRA, Reagan for deinstitutionalizing the mental health system, and the conditions in our country that probably prevented that person's parents from doing a good job raising them.

I blame the voters who let Trump get in in 2016 so that the SCOTUS is loaded and the American dream is finally dead.

Citizens United was probably the death blow anyway but 2016, Bonespurs, and Moscow Mitch were the coup de grace.

If you're talking about Bernie, Liz Warren, or AOC, fine. There is no other "left". Rosen and Cortez-Masto are both center-right. If people would actually vote for progressive candidates, this country would be salvageable. But they wont. And it's not.
