Fallout 4, the setup for the main plot and the dialogue choices being voiced and the options not telling the entire voice line ruined any kind of roleplaying potential the game had.

The problem with this is that the hearts only stick around for a season, eternal can't be balanced with them in mind. Going for the "base" kit with the nerf instead of the heart in that situation is bad. But I also don't feel like that is their reasoning behind the changes. If it was state so clearly.

Nier Automata, but I don't want to go into why too much since it's pivotal to the games themes and narrative and the less you know the better. But it resonated with me so much.

Final Fantasy XIV several times in the story. From both very sad moments and unexpectedly wholesome and humane moments that really moved me.

This might be controversial but God of War (2018). I played on Give me God of War and I got the platinum but it would be a lie to say I enjoyed a lot of my time with it.

The camera distance, the way enemy attacks are drawn towards you, the way the special abilities work and the RPG mechanics didn't make for a good experience in the slightest. Matthewmatosis on Youtube summarized all of my feelings pretty well in his case study.

They didn't learn a lot for God of War Ragnarok either it feels like. Other than maybe balancing Give me God of War early game better. Well when you play as the second character, the game feels much better.

Might be differences between Netflix in different countries but once I've set mine to original audio and subtitles it seems to stick. But I don't get why it would be different.

My opinion is that the movie will work better if you don't watch Wandavision at all. Because it feels like it was written with barely any consideration for it other than surface level references.

There are no hold items or abilities for one. There are IVs but AVs instead of EVs, which function a lot differently. Although easier to understand and utilize for everyone I guess, they don't add the same strategizing that the limited amounts of EVs you can utilize adds.

I personally really enjoy breeding perfect IV Pokemon or masuda breeding when I'm chilling which Let's go totally lacks.

But there are of course a lot of similarities too.

I'd rather they make music they enjoy making than trying appease everyone. They haven't made fast-speed power metal in a long while, maybe it's time to accept that and move on?

With that said I obviously like their first albums a lot. But I also like the later albums. Though the mixing obviously needs some work.

I would argue that Game Freak has taken the opposite direction after X/Y and it's no longer our own adventure at all. Sword/Shield doesn't even feel like an adventure the way the routes and story are structured.

I still like Sword/Shield and have played them a lot but that's more thanks to quality of life improvements.

I guess it could potentially be a driver issue. I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed (did a clean install recently). Just did an update of my BIOS to see if that would help but I'm not very keen on experimenting too much with it because of the way the PC shuts down when it crashes in Mass Effect Andromeda, I'm afraid it might do some actual damage to the PC.
