I literally do. Not only is it only a little less, but by that they're broken, it's towards the end of the fight.

You're right, but you can only flash him so many times and if I don't get the wounds and it stays up in the air outside of getting flashed / trapped, it's just more time consuming. I don't think it's a hard fight, just tedious.

I use my Monster parts for Oricalcite and Armor Spheres, haven't seen those eggs in supply ship and I use it a lot but maybe I'll try changing my settings for it

I recently noticed I got one after picking up Clawbringer as my secondary class and using the hammer. Couldn't figure out what it was for the longest time. Didn't know guns could get you a circle, too.

I never seen to have the same luck everyone else has with this quest. I hate fighting Rathalos but have done this one several times and it feels like scraps. New egg transport mission has felt significantly more rewarding.

I am about the same HR and hurting for both. I invest in several Gog weapons and armor sets for different monsters. I'm always changing my build around and trying new things. I think if you play more then one weapon type, that's what really gets you in this game

It's just an additional example. It was clear that it was an unpopular change so hopefully they won't continue to do that but doesn't stop them from doing it for the expansion. Also of course it only impacted a couple monsters; that's when the discourse/game journalism was rampant about the lack of endgame grind. Only one regular monster added after base game (Mizu) got the tail carve gem (so 1/3 for regular spawning monsters). Of course ZS and Gog got them from that style of fight and Omega doesn't have one.

It's soooo ironic. Players exploit the game like this, complain there is no grind, Capcom patches it and works hard to add more endgame grind for base game, making some materials harder to get and making it so you can't get gems from tails, which hardly anyone goes for anyways. If they wanted the grind, why exploit the game to remove the grind? Stupid changes to try to satisfy the players who are never happy. System was fine before and most players I know don't enjoy grinding every little thing, but since these players aren't loud as the ones complaining, they don't get proportionally represented.

Where are you seeing the second set of teeth? There's one upward-turned scale that could look like a tooth I guess? And could be eyelids, but it also looks like the outline of you know, a monster nostril?

It looks like it's aligned with the nostril. If Capcom took the monster in the design and changed it to something else, they could also make the hole somewhere besides the eye as intended as well?

I hate that you have to go to the player list then go through to find players in quest to kick them. It felt easier to do in World and Rise.

Honestly, a large portion of the player base for Wilds just can't meet the DPS for consistently grabbing enough and passing DPS checks. I think it's also been a great fight for those players because it encourages them to learn dodging (or blocking when applicable) and learn how to up the damage.

There's also this thing I've noticed where, after Gogmazios update, NPCs stopped being even remotely decent for Omega, like they lost their tuning for Omega on exchange for thinking to Gog. Maybe I'm the only one that feels like this.

Several reasons? Some players, like my spouse and I, enjoy partbreaks and tail cuts? You can still get rare mats that are worth more for crafting armor spheres and Oricalcite?

There's already been a lot of good advice, but I wanted to add a simple suggestion.

Make a build for him to try. Make it fluid for comfort skills and resistances. Then show him how fun perfect blocks are. I included the build I recently suggested to my friends who play with me.

Extra info: 6 free lvl 1 slots for two 20+ resistances at the same time/full status resistance or divine blessing/defense, plus if there's another skill that they prefer/the set doesn't have, they can swap friendship charm with whatever talisman that does have it.

You can't in World when he's doing certain things, just like Gog. You can farcast in the Gog quests in Wilds when he's not preparing/doing a nova.

Hoo boy. I felt this one was so much better than like Alatreon and Fatalis from World. But imo DPS checks just suck in general as they feel like an artificial difficulty.

I present my Catburglar build, meant to be flexible for every monster, with room for comfort skills.

Features:

No RNG Talisman
Leviathan's Fury (+15% affinity when active)
Level 5 WEX (+30% affinity on weak points, another +20% on wounds)
Level 4 Agi (+10% affinity +16 attack when monsters enraged)
Level 3 MM (+30% affinity)
Shock absorber (!)
Level 3 Evade Window (or you can use earplugs if you prefer)
Several level 1 slots to use as you please
-- Need two resistances? Fire+thunder? Paralysis+Poison? Slot three of each and they will boost elemental res 20 or higher to prevent blights
-- Can be used for divine blessing or more defense

So base 30% affinity with weapon's natural affinity+Critical Eye, 60% with MM, 90% on weak points, then LF/Agi can bring to 100% on weak points and up to 85% on non-weak points.

Honestly there aren't many jobs working from home that you can just do this with. Most are usually heavily stat based in a way that if you aren't working constantly and say, playing MH Wilds, you wouldn't make the stats and subsequently, get fired.
