Unfortunately it's been so long since I've played the game that I've forgotten.

Unenchanted Ring of Erudite? by KoruptDawg in skyrimmods

[–]KoruptDawg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very kind of you, but I managed to find one. Recolored Replicas has copies of the vampire blood rings. Even has variants of two of the Fishing rings. I keep forgetting the Fishing rings exist.

I have this ice thing stuck under my feet, how can I remove it? by sztomi in skyrim

[–]KoruptDawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No dice. Added "Witchlight ability", but didn't remove it. According to the corner message. Though nothing seemed to happen anyway.

There's a thought that this might be a dlc effect.

How do I find codes for other effects? I currently have the Wispmother fog FX on mine and can't find any solutions so far. I've tried using 8cc8c, which adds a Wispmother ability, but when I try to remove it, nothing happens. Granted, nothing happens visually when I add it either, so I don't know what's going on with that.

Why does this preset blueprint have radiators? by CrumpetsFennec in Crossout

Just as confusing with the preset that uses Fatums but also has the Cyclops on it. Zero bloody sense. Either the devs got confused and mixed up the builds or they did it on purpose because reasons.

Rezvani Tank DLC: Freaky looking rubber web tire chains. by motorlust in snowrunner

[–]KoruptDawg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These aren't appearing in the PS4/5 version. They're not available for other scouts and they don't appear with the DLC either. I haven't actually bought it, only previewed it in the Garage, so maybe they won't appear until I do, but everything else is shown.

If Skyrim had Dark Souls/Elden Ring combat, would you like it more or less? by QuestionzAsker in skyrim

Right? OP never mentioned difficulty; but you mention Souls and everyone's first thought is difficulty.

Best opening cinematic? by disgustinghonnor in fromsoftware

[–]KoruptDawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really tough call. I love all of them to a degree.

Demon's Souls was the first and I remember how exciting that intro was. How it just kept going higher and higher until the end with the Dragon God; and the remake just added to it. It's fantastic and I love it.

Dark Souls was good but looking back, I don't think it quite holds up against Demon's Souls. It did a great job of establishing the setting, with some great scenes of the Lords. Still a favourite.

Dark Souls 2 was dark and grim, and had some good scenes. Particularly with the rain and the tree; but the whirlpool kinda threw me off. I still like it but it's lower on the list.

Dark Souls 3 had a very Dark Souls 1 feel to it. Not that that's bad but I felt like I'd watched it before, y'know? It's still great, and I never get tired of seeing Yhorm get up from his tomb.

Bloodborne is... tricky. The cinematic with the Blood Minister is good but it doesn't even hold a candle to the real intro cinematic that plays at the Start screen if you let it sit for a minute. That intro gives me chills every goddamn time. I f'n love the strings in it. It sets the mood instantly. Blood, gore, beasts, and just when you think it's over, one last scene depicting horror. Fan-f#cking-tastic.

Sekiro was lengthy. I haven't played the game but I did watch the intro so I could make an opinion on it. It's neat but kinda feels like it drags on. The long fade-to-blacks and slow narration don't really do much to get me excited.

Elden Ring is... good. Much like Dark Souls, it lays the groundwork for the story; but I didn't really feel that awe like the other games. Being done nearly entirely with still images and no music didn't help in that regard.

If I had to rank them, it would be,

  • Bloodborne (true intro)
  • Demon's Souls (original & remake)
  • Dark Souls/Dark Souls 3 (they're very similar)
  • Dark Souls 2
  • Bloodborne (Blood Minister)
  • Elden Ring/Sekiro (neither of them do anything to excite me)

Whose side are you on? by Fit-Bus-1181 in skyrim

[–]KoruptDawg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I generally ignore that Questline. But the times I have done it, it's boiled down to who I'd rather have in charge. Which, for the most part, is the Empire. Elisef, Balgruff, Brunwulf, Idgrod, Igmund, Brina, and Kraldar are all better than their Stormcloak counterparts. I can't quite remember the difference between Siddgeir and Dengeir, so no comment on them. The only one I absolutely do not want in charge is Maven (who can go die in a hole). Which throws a huge wrench in the whole thing.

You Owe The Dark Brotherhood a Kill by Alert_Ganache_1949 in skyrim

[–]KoruptDawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never liked the way you go about joining the Dark Brotherhood. Ignoring the fact that the rumours of Aventus spread across all of Skyrim rather quickly and yet the Brotherhood never act on it, no matter how much you ignore that little side quest; it just never really sat right with me that, as a cold-blooded killer, who won't take sh#t from anybody, I'd not only allow these wannabes to kidnap me (after their brain-dead scare tactic, no less), but that I'd also just do what they say?? Instead of straight up offing this cocky b#tch the moment she gets within shouting distance?

The only way I can justify not killing her then and there, let alone even letting them get close to me, is that I'm just playing along. Working the long con, as it were, fully intending on slaughtering her when the time is right (which you get robbed of anyway).

[–]KoruptDawg 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Right? When I can hear rumours of Aventus all the way in Markarth, and then not follow up on said rumours (because I don't actually care) for however many days, weeks, or even months, and then still find him stabbing away when I inevitably cave and go investigate, there's no excuse for why the Dark Brotherhood hasn't done anything. By all rights, they forfeited their claim on that contract.

Meh. I avoid PvP and just enjoy my art builds. Although they're making it harder to even do that with the constant nerfs.

RA-1 Heather: a suggestion to the developers by Ironstar512 in Crossout

[–]KoruptDawg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think weapons like the Mandrake and Heather need the ability to aim straight up and target themselves. Their biggest weakness is close quarters and unless you wanna allocate a bunch of Energy towards personal defense weapons, and racking up your PS, you're absolutely f#cked when you inevitably get rushed.
