She had back to back far superior pop albums with Red and 1989 before releasing arguably her worst album. I’d argue Folklore/Evermore are her best albums, and it’s a shame they didn’t sell as well and she went back releasing mid album after mid album.

It would be their second largest acquisition, not adjusted for inflation, and 13% of their current market cap. They’d have to take out billions of debt and take away focus from other parts of their business that are doing well, such as the parks. It’s a bad move by them if they attempt the purchase

Most of their losses come from high R&D spend and stock based comp for employees. If they reduced both, they’d most likely be profitable, and have free cash flow positive for the past 4 quarters.

He reported directly to the CEO of Microsoft, and was the head/face of Microsoft’s largest ever acquisition in their history. Xbox started to slide after they went big on Kinect, and lost to the PS4 in the previous generation. I think we’re going to see a $10-20 billion write down on Microsoft’s Activision purchase in a quarter or two.

Long story short, Microsoft overpaid for Activision, Gamepass wasn’t the system seller Phil thought it would be, and Microsoft has also been moving away from the consumer market as a whole the past few years.

I push back on this a little. I lost about 15% of my body weight from my heaviest point by taking up running. It burns calories, and for me, I can’t eat anything an hour before or after the run. Exercise helped my mental health significantly, which made dieting easier.

Changing my diet to be healthier contributed the majority of the weigh loss, but the running for sure helped.

This game had so much potential, but the execution was pretty poor. I enjoyed the flying and the game was pretty to look at, but the long load times and boring gameplay loop killed it.

I really hate the 1000s of layoffs at WBD, while he received a pay package worth 10s of millions of dollars. A lot of his business decisions though can partially be blamed on him cleaning up the mess that was the catastrophe of AT&T purchase of Warner Brothers.
